When it comes to back to school there are so many things to keep track of! I thought I would have a bit more time to prepare for it all but even preschool prep is serious business! Weston spotted a lunch box he wanted the other day and it’s all he’s talked about since! As a mom I want to stay as organized as I can and make the start of the new school year as smooth as possible. But as we’re checking off our list of things we need to do to be ready for the first day, I can’t help but stop every so often and think of how far we’ve come. For the first time, Weston is noticing that the stores have school supplies out. And for the first time he’s really wanted to have a say in what he plans to wear to school.
He’s growing up! And it’s tricky for me as a mom.
I love watching him grow and become a boy but I can’t help but think back to that baby I held in my arms. Back to school season can definitely pull out the memories.
He’s growing into an amazing boy full of creativity and enthusiasm. His love for his family always warms my heart and watching him with his sister is something special.
As we start buying everything he needs for another successful year of school, he’s made sure that Carrigan has the things she needs too.
When Weston chose his new shoes for school, they both had to get new shoes for school. Yes, we call them that — new shoes for school. Emphasis on the school though no one is really listening to me and Carrigan isn’t going to school.
We’re just making more memories together. The kind that pull at your heart when the fall rolls around. Oh, the emotions.
