I’m proud to be working with CVS Pharmacy to promote the launch of the new CVS Pay service on the free CVS Pharmacy app, available to download via Apple’s App Store and Google Play. All opinions expressed are my own, and all product claims or program details shared should be verified at CVS.com or with the appropriate manufacturers. #CVSPay #CVS
CVS Pay and the CVS Pharmacy App are Time Savers
If you’re a busy mom like me then you’re all about anything that makes the details of everyday life just a bit easier. Running errands with the kids in tow can be a challenge, so anything that saves me time while we cross things off our to-do list is wonderful!
Plus, if it comes in app form on my phone, I’m more likely to use it! That’s why the new features on the CVS Pharmacy app (including CVS Pay) are helping us save time and money these days!
I have to admit that I like saving money (I’m sure I’m not alone) but I’m not the couponing type. I definitely depend on apps to help me find ways to save. This is one of the first reasons I downloaded the CVS Pharmacy app!
CVS ExtraCare Card
You can link your CVS ExtraCare Card to your CVS Pharmacy app! How easy does that make it to save? I no longer have to hunt for my card in my wallet! By linking your ExtraCare account to the app, you also get access to special deals available only in the app! You can send offers to your card and your coupons will be applied automatically when you check out!
Speaking of checking out, you can now use CVS Pay as part of the CVS Pharmacy app! This is a game changer for me when it comes to dropping into CVS to pick up prescriptions, photos, or a few odds and ends when I don’t want to make a bigger grocery store run.
CVS Pay is just what it sounds like! It makes it super convenient to pay for everything yu need. All you have to do is add your credit or debit card in the CVS Pharmacy app. Then you’re ready to checkout at your local CVS store, you show the barcode in the app.
Your barcode will be scanned and then you can choose the payment method you’d like to use in the app. Your payment will then be processed and you’ll receive confirmation! How easy is that?
We use CVS for Grambo’s monthly prescription for her blood pressure and thyroid medication. When the kids get sick and end up with a prescription, our CVS is a super convenient stop for us on the way home from the pediatrician’s office. We’re now able to use the CVS Pharmacy app to manage all of our families prescriptions as well!
You can order and track your prescription refills and get alerts when they’re ready for pickup. You can also take care of all the privacy issues when picking up your prescriptions.
If you use the CVS Pharmacy app, when you get to the store to pick up your prescription (you can still drive through too), you show your barcode and have it scanned. All verifications for prescriptions and payment happen in the app so you don’t have to worry about your name or birthdate being announced or someone looking over your shoulder while you enter your pin!
Other CVS Pharmacy App Time Savers
In addition to being able to link your ExtraCard to save and using CVS Pay to pay with ease, you can also use your CVS Pharmacy app for some other popular errands you might do at CVS.
- Get alerts for expiring ExtraCare loyalty rewards
- Order photo prints and pick them up
- View MinuteClinic wait times and hold your place in line
If you haven’t downloaded the CVS Pharmacy App, it’s now available for both Android and Apple devices. The CVS Pay feature works with all major credit, debit, Health Savings Accounts, and Flexible Spending Account cards. That makes it even more convenient! We can get in and out of CVS with everything we need in less time these days!
