When it comes to ice cream, Weston is a traditionalist. He is all about the vanilla. Sometimes he’ll add some some sprinkles but often it’s just a scoop of classic vanilla. And if you look in our freezer, you’ll often find Breyers ice cream just ready and waiting for him. But the other night, I wanted a sweet treat and I wanted something a bit more unexpected. This Easy Banana Pudding recipe was absolutely perfect!
Easy Banana Pudding Recipe
As you can tell from the title of the post, this is not your typical banana pudding recipe. Instead it’s a take on banana pudding created by Chef Antonia Lofaso. She partnered with Breyers to create five fun and family-friendly recipes. Each recipe features the Natural Vanilla flavor that Weston loves. So I took on the challenge of recreating the recipe and I’m so glad I did!

Yes, that’s how easy it is to make this dessert! It had Grambo requesting the bananas again! Luckily they are easy to make and you can whip them up in just minutes! But it looks like you really spent some time putting together a fancy dessert! The bananas just added something special to our favorite vanilla ice cream! It’s one you have to try!
And I love that it uses Breyers® Natural Vanilla Ice Cream because they are committed to using high quality ingredients. As a mom, that’s important to me! The Natural Vanilla is made with fresh cream, sugar, milk, and sustainably farmed vanilla beans! All Breyers vanilla is real and from sustainably farmed, Rainforest Alliance Certifiedâ„¢ vanilla beans. They now source their milk and cream from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones!*
Breyers Natural Vanilla is America’s No. 1 vanilla ice cream, and parents now have additional reasons to feel good about serving it to their family.
*(Please note: Suppliers of other ingredients such as cookies, candies & sauces may not be able to make this pledge. The FDA states that no significant difference has been shown between dairy derived from rBST-treated and non-rBST-treated cows.)
