This post is sponsored by Olive Garden. We received a gift card to facilitate our easy family lunch however all thoughts and experiences are my own.
Recently we’ve been able to start going out to eat a bit more often than we had in the past. C is old enough to sit in a high chair and she really enjoys it. W is starting to enjoy going out to restaurants these days rather than being a bit wild. He likes to check out the kids menus even though he always wants to order the same thing. But Grambo and I recently took advantage of our new freedom to check out the Olive Garden new menu!
Easy Family Lunch with Olive Garden New Menu
Olive Garden has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I am a huge fan of making a meal out of the soup, salad, and breadsticks. J enjoys it too but likes to go with an entree instead of just getting soup with me.
So when I learned about the Olive Garden new menu, I was ready to head out. But I waited for Grambo to have a day off work so we could enjoy lunch with the kids. It only seemed fair since Grambo loves Olive Garden as well. I have many memories of meeting her for lunch there when I was in college.
I’ll admit that I was thrilled to see that my favorite quick lunch was still available on the new menu. Unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks for the win! I think I could eat this meal every single day. I would switch back and forth between Chicken & Gnocchi and Pasta e Fagioli each day. I could probably enjoy that for lunch for quite a while.
But I was able to look past my dependable favorite to see a great variety of new items to tempt us, like mini pasta bowls and flatbreads. If J had been with us I know the Tuscan Trio Combination would have been a great way for him to do some sampling for lunch.
But Grambo and I only had to look at each other to know we wanted to try the Grilled Chicken Flatbread!
And it turned out to be absolutely delicious! We enjoyed it with our usual soup and salad. And I learned that on the Olive Garden new menu you can now get Signature Salad Toppings like antipasto and roasted tomato caprese! I know that next time J and I head over to Olive Garden, he’ll want to try one of those!
They have also added some lighter fare items to the menu to help those looking for meals under 575 calories. This is a great option for me if we do decide to go for dinner. And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who wants to go out to eat while still wanting something on the lighter side!
But if you’re not looking to walk on the lighter side and would prefer to indulge, the Olive Garden new menu has you covered.
And Grambo and I might have decided to do some indulging! But we shared! We just had to try the Vanilla Panna Cotta with Strawberries because we’d never tried panna cotta before.
I fell in love. I don’t do dessert at restaurants very often but this one is now on my must-have list and I will be having it every single time!
That’s saying a lot because the new menu offerings so many different dessert options. Many of them are smaller sized which is perfect for indulging at lunch time!
The Olive Garden new menu is designed to enhance your experience by offering new flavors and more variety while still offering everyday value! Recognizing the busy schedules of lunch guests, the new lunch menu and enhanced service steps are designed to provide busy guests with a variety of choices for a quick and satisfying meal.
We definitely had fabulous service at our location! I was wowed and will definitely be stopping in again soon. Good food, good service, and W was able to make it through the meal because of the fast pace!
You can check out the Olive Garden new menu for yourself!
