Kalorik Food Processor Helps Sweeten the Deal (Review)

Kalorik Red Food Processor

Kalorik Food Processor

The Kalorik Food Processor is fast and easy to use! I’m saying this and I have an irrational fear of food processors (and garbage disposals)!

Of course when I took it out of the box and saw all of the parts, I got a little overwhelmed. But I persevered and set out to assemble the food processor. The user manual easily explained just what I needed to do and I was ready to go within minutes. This was after I washed all of the removable parts in warm, soapy water.

The Kalorik Food Processor includes 7 attachments so there is something for every job. The attachments include a stainless steel grader, slicer, chopper and shredder discs, emulsifier/egg beater, dough maker and citrus juicer.

Versatile Kalorik Food Processor

Stainless Steel Blade

One of my favorite features was the stainless steel blade. I know it is the attachment I will use most often. It’s also the one I used for my first recipe in the new food processor. I loved that it came with protective covers over the blades. They make it so easy to store the blade without worry!

Wide Base Featuring Suction Cups

My old food processor just stopped working one day and I had only used it a few times. So I was excited to have a new one. My dream is to eventually grow a salsa garden and make my own salsa! Unfortunately the heat took down my garden this year but maybe next year!

I love that the Kalorik Food Processor features suction cups on the base. My old food processor didn’t have these and I like how secure the Kalorik processor feels when it’s sitting on the counter. With a toddler around, I appreciate anything that improves safety.

Once I had the machine together, I was ready to get cooking. In this case, I just had to prepare. There wasn’t any cooking involved.

I wanted something sweet and I wanted something easy. So I decided to try a Funfetti Dip that I had spotted on Pinterest.

Two Speed Rotary Setting

The Kalorik Food Processor features a two-speed rotary setting with a pulse option too. I like this versatility. Combined with the variety of attachments, I think the machine is a valuable fixture in my kitchen.

I love that it comes in both black and red. We have decorated our first floor with red and robin’s egg blue so the red is perfect for my kitchen!

The Funfetti Dip is made with a box of funfetti cake mix, fat-free plain yogurt, and lite cool whip. It’s that simple and it’s just a matter of getting it all blended together smoothly. The cake mix can clump up but it was no match for the Kalorik Food Processor!

While I’m pretty sure most food processors can handle my dreams of making fresh salsa, I loved seeing this one handle the box of cake mix without any trouble. It’s inspiring me to branch out and try more of the tasty goodies I’ve pinned! The bowl has an 8-cup capacity so I’m ready to take on some big projects in the kitchen!

Affordable Food Processor

The Kalorik Food Processor is affordable $79.99. You can learn more about it on the Kalorik website. You can also get connected with Kalorik on Facebook and on Twitter @TeamKalorik!
