Find Your Fit Lee Jeans

Lee Jeans Make Me Happy

Let’s talk jeans. I didn’t start wearing jeans until I was in college. It’s true. For years everyone told me about the wonders of a good pair of jeans. When I was 18 years old, I finally discovered what they were talking about. Since then I have become a hardcore t-shirt and jeans type of girl.

When you find that perfect pair of jeans, it’s… heavenly. It doesn’t happen with every pair of jeans. But every so often, I find a pair that just fit in a great way. They are super comfortable and they just make me feel good. It’s all about working to find your fit. At least that’s what I learned from Lee Jeans.

It’s a lesson I learned recently when I tried on the Lee Slender Secret Scarlett Barely Bootcut jeans. I don’t usually order clothing online but I took a leap of faith with these jeans. Boy am I glad that I did! It was love at first wear!

The Slender Secret

My Lee Jeans have a secret. A slender secret. It’s a feature that first caught my interest when I was browsing the new fall line from Lee. The jeans are made with ultra stretch fabric. The fabric provides all over slimming and retains its shape throughout the entire day.

I love jeans with some stretch to them. I just find them more comfortable. As a mom with a busy toddler and a pre-k teacher, I’m always moving around. Sitting down and crawling around on the floor isn’t uncommon for me. A little stretch goes a long way for me.

The ultra stretch fabric is the key to why I love these jeans. They fit me well and I feel like I can move. They do hold their shape. At the end of the day, my jeans are still sitting at my waist. With other stretch jeans, I have battled constantly having to pull up my pants throughout the day. This did not happen with my new Lee jeans!

And slimming? Yes, please. I’ve had a baby. Anything that offers a bit of a slimming effect is good by me!

All in the Details

While comfort and a good fit are at the top of my list when it comes to jeans. But I can appreciate the little details that add a dash of style as well. I may be a mom but I don’t want to wear “mom jeans.” The Lee Scarlett Barely Bootcut jeans sit lower on the waist which is definitely my preference.

I love the bit of bling on the pockets. I think it just adds a little something extra that I don’t see on every pair of jeans. Oh and have I mentioned the color? I am a huge fan of darker jeans. This wash is called Nightingale and I adore the color. It looks great with lighter colored shirts and with darker colors like black as well! Basically, it works well with everything I own.

Oh, and they have the length to work great with a pair of heels. But they also make my favorite flats look absolutely adorable when they peek out from the cuffs!

Comfortable, attractive, and diverse. Those are the qualities that makes this pair of jeans an essential piece in my wardrobe.

In fact, they are currently my only pair of jeans. I will be adding a few more pairs very soon. They are my jeans of choice right now!

What do you look for in a great pair of jeans?

These days I look for comfort the most in a pair of jeans, jeans that move with you.. that I can get down on the ground playing with the kids comfortably… but also jeans that keep their shape as the day goes on, not jeans that saggy and baggy as the day goes on.

  2. Tammy S says

Comfort, comfort, comfort…and if the jeans last all day without being completely streched out – that puts them #1 in my closet!!

  3. Angela s says

They look so comfy on you! I always have a hard time finding jeans that are not way too long on me bc I am really short. I can’t wait to get a pair of these. It’s time for a new pair of jeans. I also want a comfy pair that I’ll wear around the house and ones that I don’t want to take off as soon as I get home. Thanks for the review!

I love the way they look and how well they fit and they arent those low rider jeans that I see everywhere which I cant wear, these Jeans are awesome !!!

  5. krista grandstaff says

The Lee’s look awesome on you, and I’m especially glad you talked about the stretch…we’ve all had jeans with “stretch”, but if you can crawl around on the floor in them, and have them keep thri shape and still look great, that is hard core!

  6. maggie king says

It is SO hard for me to find the perfect pair of jeans because I have really short legs but petite is too short. So I look for a good cut, flare or boot cut and something that isn’t too long in the legs.

  7. Jill A. Collins says

I look for something soft, and something that is easy to move in – and definitely something that doesn’t bind in all the wrong places!

  8. Jennifer Nielsen says

The thing I look for in a great pair of jeans is a great wash, something that lifts my butt but at the same time is confortable!
