I will admit that I am fairly familiar with the frozen breakfast aisles at all of our local grocery stores! There are so many different frozen breakfast products available these days and they are so convenient in the morning! My family also loves a good breakfast for dinner every week or so which means that I am always on the hunt for new breakfast products!
I was out-of-town when my Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls arrived but my aunt told me that they were well packed with dry ice so they were nice and cold when she took them out. She put them in the freezer and then I had to wait to get home to try one! I was excited to try them because of how often I use frozen breakfast products. It’s great to discover new products and I was hoping the Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls would turn out to be tasty! I’m a fan of other Tyson products so I was hoping the trend would continue!
Convenience is the key for me when it comes to work mornings. I need something quick and something that I can pick up and take with me. I liked that the directions were printed on both the box and the plastic packaging. This means that I will never show up at work and not remember how long to cook the Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls for (which has happened to me in the past with other products). One thing I would prefer would be individual packaging because I really only need one bowl for breakfast in the morning. I pair it with a banana and a cup of hot tea so two is a bit much for me.
When I got mine out of the packaging, I could already see that it had a lot of bacon and I was impressed with how thick the bread bowl appeared to be. I was excited before I even put it in the microwave. That is a must for me — my breakfasts have to be microwaveable. I need to be able to throw one in the microwave and go in the morning. That’s exactly what I did with the Tyson Bacon Breakfast Bread Bowl. I put it in the microwave for 55 seconds as directed on the plastic packaging and it came out perfectly! It was cooked all of the way through and was hot enough but not too hot! I hate when I have to wait ten minutes just to eat! I’m all about quick in the morning!
I cut my Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowl open, there was definitely a lot of bacon. With the other portable breakfast items I’ve tried, it seems like they are mostly egg with just a bit of meat. With the Tyson bowls, I thought there was a lot more meat than egg. This gave the bowl a more savory taste that I definitely enjoyed. I also liked how thick the bread was because I am definitely a bread person! J also liked the bread bowl which is good because I am always on the hunt for quick and easy breakfast for him as well since he has to be to work at 7 in the morning!
Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls are a quick and easy breakfast for the whole family!
All of the adults were fans after just a few bites and I can see the bread bowls being a great alternative for dinner sometimes in addition to breakfast. But what did the little man think? That is the important question!
W loved the Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls! He actually ate half of mine and I ended up having to heat up another one so he could have some more! These breakfast bowls are parent and baby approved! These will definitely be in our grocery basket again soon!
