We’re excited to be partnering with Netflix this year as part of their Stream Team (#StreamTeam)! I wanted to kick things off with this Netflix TV Show List that I’ve been digging these days when I’m watching alone.
These shows mean that I don’t have to cheat on Justin by getting ahead on the shows we usually watch together!
No Netflix cheating going on around here!
Netflix TV Show List for Moms
Netflix cheating? Yes, you read that right! Do you have any shows that you watch with certain people in your life? Justin and I watch Bloodline together once a week. It’s a must on our Netflix show list that we share.
Sometimes I’m tempted to jump ahead and watch an episode without him.
Did you know that Netflix Cheating is on the rise? New data reveals 46% of streaming couples around the world are watching ahead of their partner!
You know how it is when it comes to Netflix must watch shows. I just want to watch as many episodes in a row as I can pack in! So I’ve got my own Netflix TV show list for when I’m craving some Netflix time and I don’t want to cheat on Justin!
Mom’s Netflix Binge Watching Show List
I first watched The 4400 back in 2007 so when I saw it was on Netflix, it got added to my to watch Netflix TV show list!
The show is about 4400 people who had vanished over about five decades who all one day suddenly reappear. None of them have aged at all and with time, we learn that they have mysterious powers.
If you’re into suspenseful shows with a bit of a supernatural vibe, this is one to add to your Netflix show list!
So Glee is one of my all-time favorite shows. Can you tell that when it comes to my Netflix show recommendations, I love the fact that I can rewatch older shows that I enjoyed the first time?
If you haven’t seen Glee before, I definitely recommend it. I grew up very involved in musical theater so a television show full of song and dance is a great way to entertain me when I’m taking a little time for myself.
So Gilmore Girls falls under the category that when it was first on TV, I just wasn’t into it. Most of my friend think I’m crazy. But now that it’s available on Netflix, I’m trying it again!
With seven seasons available, it’s definitely got that binge potential! Of course, that could mean I stay up way too late watching Netflix! Busy moms need rest too, right?
So I got hooked on The Fosters back when it was on ABC Family. I find it really appealing because of the diversity in the show. It really shows how families can be made up by blood but also by the people you accept into your life.
I actually got a bit behind with our busy life, so I’m excited to be able to add it to my Netflix show list and get caught up!
Apparently I’ve got a lot of dramas in my list of Netflix must watch shows, but it’s all balanced out by shows like The Office.
When I only have a short time to watch something and I need a pick me up, it always comes through. It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen an episode!
Original Netflix Show Recommendations for Mom
I realized that most of the shows I watch without Justin are network shows now available on Netflix, but I also have some favorite Netflix Originals! I actually am trying to convince Justin to make some of these shows that we watch together!
- Bloodline (this is our current at home date night show)
- Sense8 (my most recent Netflix Original binge!)
Hopefully these Netflix show recommendations help you put together a must-watch list for when you get some time to yourself! Then you can avoid any Netflix cheating temptation!
