But when it comes to making things like breakfast, lunch, and snacks easy, I’m all about finding products that are convenient for us. We recently had the chance to add Jif® Flavored Spreads and Jif™ Bars to our pantry this week and it’s been a great addition! Check out how we put them to use this week!
Snack Tips for Parents: Making the Whole Day Easier
I know I’ve shared this before but it’s true that my kids are picky eaters. Well, Weston more than Carrigan but she likes to follow his lead. But one thing I can always count on my kids to eat is peanut butter. I always make sure we have two jars of peanut butter in the house. Have to have a back up just to be safe!
It only made sense for us to try out Jif Flavored Spreads and Jif Bars since we love Jif Peanut Butter. So we picked up a box of Creamy Peanut Butter Jif Bars and Maple Jif Spread at Walmart when we were there.
I love that both products are available in different varieties! When we find something we like, we love to have a few choices! Jif Bars are available in chocolate, creamy peanut butter and hazelnut while the Jif Flavored Spreads are available in maple and cinnamon. They are all so delicious too and when I’m looking for easy snack tips for parents to share you, taste is definitely one of the most important factors!
When it comes to snack tips for parents that actually work, convenience is one of the most important things. My kids aren’t going to sit down to a big breakfast but I still like to get something in their bellies before we start our busy day. So I depend on convenience to offer them something smaller so they’ll actually eat.
So when it comes to our breakfast option and our snack options, I look for products that are convenient. Jif Flavored Spreads have been working great for both. Spread on waffles, we have a new favorite breakfast option. Grambo has been loving this too! If you need to head out of the house quickly, spread the maple Jif Flavored Spread between two waffles warm from the toaster and you’ve got a delicious sandwich!
For a quick morning snack, we’ve been spreading it on a piece of toast or crackers! It’s convenient and easy!
Another important thing when it comes to snacks for your kids is taste. If the kids don’t like it then you’re just wasting your time. That’s why I love when we find something that works well for us and comes in a variety of flavors.
Weston loves peanut butter so he was willing to try out the Jif Flavored Spreads (which is a win in itself) and he’s become a huge fan of the maple. I haven’t tried the cinnamon with him but he likes cinnamon so I’m hoping to expand his list of foods just a bit. Slowly but surely!
The Jif Bars have proven to be packed with flavor and taste that we all enjoy!
I’m always looking for granola type bars to take with us. They general travel in my purse pretty well.
But there aren’t a lot of options for me and my picky eater but since he loves peanut butter, the Jif Bars have proven to have the taste he’ll go for when we’re at sports practice, running errands, or driving home from school. And I feel like I’m helping him make a better choice. We still get his favorite french fries every once in a while but having the Jif Bars on hand for those snack attacks is working out great for us!
We took them to a play date this week too and they got the kid approval. Plenty of thumbs ups and cheers without any leftovers for mom!
So when you’re looking for snacks for your family or easy breakfast or lunch options, Jif is coming to the rescue! The combination of great taste and convenience has turned them into a staple in our pantry! We getting peanut butter happy around here and my kids couldn’t be happier!
Stock up and be prepared with snack tips for parents as life gets a little bit busier. Summer’s almost over and back to school is right around the corner! Don’t get caught without plenty of easy snack options for the kids!
