Have you ever wondered what goes on at a blogging conference? Is it all about the business of blogging? Or is it something more? For me, it is definitely something more, especially at SoFabCon.
I approach blogging the same way as I do being a mom. I’m always on the hunt for new ideas and new things to try. I’m also working to get better at what I do and I’m always trying to grow. This is the way I attack pretty much everything in my life. I want to be the best I can be in all of my endeavors whether it’s blogging or being a mom.
SoFabCon Success with Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web
So when I had the opportunity to represent one of the brands that has become a staple in my life as a mom and a blogger at SoFabCon, I knew it was going to be amazing. Walmart Family Mobile has become an integral part of my daily life over the past 7 months. I depend on my phone to keep in touch with J, schedule doctor’s appointments, stay connected with my blogging friends, and manage my social media. My phone is part of my personal life and my professional life.
I get great coverage with Walmart Family Mobile which is why I’ve switched to the service. At SoFabCon, I had the opportunity to meet with the Walmart Family Mobile team and share my passion for the brand. In return, they were able to help make my life run just a bit smoother in the Tech Room they sponsored at SoFabCon.
1. Power up.
One of the major draws of the Walmart Family Mobile tech room was the charging station. Can we say lifesaver? As a mom and a blogger, I would love to have a charging station everywhere I go. It would make life so much easier. Taking photos and updating my social media drains my battery quickly. So I definitely spent some time at the Walmart Family Mobile charging station in the tech room.
2. Have fun!
Of course, I was at SoFabCon to learn new things and snag some tidbits that will help me continue to grow as a blogger. But the tech room was also a pretty fun place to hang out. I had the chance to revisit some of the most important facts about Walmart Family Mobile while playing a memory game. I managed to match all the facts in under 30 seconds! Moms have to be able to think quickly under pressure right?
3. Feel supported.
The last thing that I really appreciated about the tech room was the fact that I was in good hands with the experts hanging out in the room. My phone was having some lag issues, so I was able to sit down and get some advice on how to resolve the issue a bit. I’ll admit that the first thing we did was restart my phone. I know I should have thought of it myself, but even after that simple fix, we were able to go through and look at how resources were being used on my phone and tweak some things.
So I was thrilled to have the opportunity to share my love of Walmart Family Service with the team while also charging up, having fun, and getting some support. It helped to have unlimited talk text and data/web so I could share all of my adventures over the weekend!
Oh, and meeting Doug Speedie in person was also one of the highlights of my experience. He’s the Marketing Manager, New Brands at T-Mobile and it was great to talk a bit of shop with a brain behind the service I’ve grown to love and depend on!
I had a great time at SoFabCon and look forward to sharing some of the things I learned later this week. So if you’re looking to grow as a blogger (or learn how I handled a blog conference with a baby in tow), be sure to stop by later this week!
