Before I got married, I used to joke about the idea of the biological clock ticking away. Many of my friends married in their early 20s where Justin and I didn’t get married until I was 28. And we knew we wanted some time as a married couple just as much as we wanted to start a family. So trying to conceive wasn’t something we were thinking about right away.
Trying to Conceive with Help
But when I turned 30, I heard it. My biological clock. And it was was ticking loudly. I found myself starting to worry about whether or not we would have fertility issues. I started reading everything I could on how to get pregnant. Before we even started on our journey, I was stressing myself out. I hadn’t even become a mom yet and I was all worked up.
Little did I know how much more demanding life would be once my little ones had arrived. I am very thankful that Justin and I did not face many of the fertility challenges that our friends and family have shared with us. I say thank you everyday (even on the challenging days) for my two beautiful children.
Unfortunately, many of our friends and family members have dealt with fertility struggles and we do our best to support them.
While we were trying to conceive, we did whatever we could to support our efforts. One of the things we used was a lubricant that was formulated for couples trying to conceive. Astroglide Trying To Conceive™ is one of those products. It supports fertility with adjusted pH levels and a consistency that is similar to your body’s cervical mucus.
When trying to conceive it’s important to provide an environment where sperm has the best chance of survival. Many traditional lubricants can inhibit this environment. But studies have show that Astroglide TTC™ is compatible and allows sperm to move freely.
Trying to conceive isn’t always fun but the end result is worth it. I cannot imagine my life with Weston and Carrigan. They are the biggest challenges I’ve ever faced and also the biggest rewards I’ve ever received!
