UPDATED FOR 2022: The Baby Box University program has closed down. You can find a similar product through Pip & Grow, however it is not a free program.

When a new baby is on the way, there are so many things to prepare for and Baby Box University is here to help parents care for their little ones!

If you’re a new parent or someone close to you is expecting, you’re probably helping them get ready for the new arrival. There are so many things to cross off the To Do list. Thankfully, parents aren’t alone these days.

We’re partnering with Baby Box University to share how we can all learn more about everything from safe sleep to nutrition! All opinions are my own.

Plus, they’re offering an amazing opportunity for parents to receive a free baby box! If you don’t know about the baby box, you have to continue reading!

Learn how to get a FREE baby box bed from Baby Box University. The box comes with free samples for both baby and parents! It's perfect for new parents whether it's your first baby or you're adding a sibling to the family!

    Baby Box University

If you’ve never heard of Baby Box University or a baby box bed, it’s an amazing program.

I first learned about the tradition of the Baby Box when I read an article about how they’re used in Finland. Use of the boxes helped the country achieve one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the world.

But it’s also more than just a safe sleep space for your baby. It’s also about education. Every mother in Finland receives important information before they qualify for a free Baby Box.

Baby Box University is all about creating this access to education and healthcare resources as part of the program.

    How Baby Box University Works

    1. Go to BabyBoxUniversity.com and go through the steps to sign-up for a free account.
    2. Click on โ€œFind Your Courseโ€ and select the location closest to you.
    3. Watch the video course (about 15-20 minutes total). It is full of information about safe sleep and newborn care.
    4. Once you’ve watched the course, take the short quiz.
    5. Select how you wish to receive your Baby Box. Depending on your location, you will be able to ship it to your home or pick it up at a nearby location.
    6. Put your baby in the box and have a safe sleep space for your little one!

My area had a few options for courses so I chose the one that applied to me and then I was able to select specific short videos to watch. You can watch them in sections or watch the entire course.

I loved that there was the option to go through the course in sections. That made it easy to do on my schedule.

Although I’m not a new mom, some of the videos were ones that I wish I’d had when I was expecting! I could have used the information on Postpartum Depression and Anxiety.

For our local area, there were three options for receiving the free Baby Box. I could pick it up at a local store, get it shipped, or visit with a local partner. I loved the flexibility offered with these options too!

    Benefits of Baby Box University

When you sign up for the Baby Box University, you’re not only taking the first step to get your free baby box, you’re also helping yourself get prepared for your new baby. Whether you’re a first time parent or doing it all over again, getting education is always a great asset on the parenthood journey.

My kids were born about three years apart and I remember thinking things like — “I remember this happening the first time, but what did we do when it did?” Even though I’d lived through the newborn life with one child, it seemed like a brand new journey with the second.

While education is the top benefit of Baby Box University because it will help you feel more confident, there are many more including:

    • Easy to use
    • Worry-free
    • Free Samples

Baby Box is Easy to Use

The great thing about the Baby Box bed is that it’s very easy to use. All you need is the box and the mattress and sheet that comes with your box. It’s all you need to have a safe place for your baby to sleep.

Another great thing about the box is that it’s easy to move around, so you have a safe place for baby to sleep no matter what room you’re in. Just be sure to use it on the floor to keep your baby safe.

The free baby box is a safe place for baby to sleep.

    Baby Box is Worry-Free

Whether you’re having your first baby or adding a sibling to the mix, getting a free baby box is a way to take care of some of the worries that come along with preparing for a new baby.

If you have more than one child, the baby box bed can help ease your worries. The box has walls to keep your baby safe while the other kids are playing. The box is easy to move (but don’t move it with the baby in it!) so you can use it in any room of the house!

I think it could be a great way to have a worry-free place for your baby to sleep when traveling too!
