The kids are huge fans of collectible toys and toys that come in blind bags or blind boxes. So we were thrilled to have the chance to check out Pooparoos Surpriseroos!
If you haven’t heard of them yet, you will! If your kids like to collect different characters, these will be a hit in your house just like they are in ours! The kids love the collectability and I love that they’re great for both boys and girls!
Both of my kids had a great time checking out Pooparoos!

Surprises & Fun with Pooparoos Surpriseroos
Pooparoos Surpriseroos (click to add to cart) are the latest in collectible, blind box type of toys. They have a fun, whimsical feel that caught my eye.
And yes, they come with a toilet and they poop. Yes, they do. But they poop some adorable food-themed figures that add an even bigger collectible factor! If you have kids like mine, you know this had them interested immediately!
But they’re really light-hearted and fun. I’ll admit that we all enjoyed opening our Pooparoos and getting surprised!
More Than Just a Toy
While the Pooparoos Surpriseroos are fun toys from opening to play time, I’ve found that they can be used for more than just the play factor. They make great rewards for the kids and they also make great gifts!
You can use them in quite a few different ways:
- Birthday present
- Trade & Swap play date
- Encourages open-end play
- Award for reaching a goal
- Tooth fairy gift (my kids enjoy getting gifts instead of just money. I discovered this one night when the tooth fairy was supposed to come and we didn’t have any money but I had some little toys stashed away!)
Who wouldn’t like to wake up in the morning and a little gift waiting for you in exchange for a tooth? It’s a pretty sweet deal!
If you’re using Pooparoos as a reward for reaching a goal, one thing you can also do is open it and take out the three magical paper packs that come in the back of the toilet. Give your child one but then save the other two to use as additional rewards!
My kids love getting gifts that have the surprise factor that comes along with it so making it stretch is another way to keep them motivated.
More About Pooparoos Surpriseroos Toys
You get quite a few things in the Pooparoos Surpriseroos box including:
- Cute blue toilet
- Large squishy Pooparoos Surpriseroos figure
- 3 Magical Paper Packs with adorable little food figures hidden inside
- Purple scooper
There is plenty to play with right out of the box with these playsets.
When you open the box, make sure you get the scooper out too as it’s attached to the inside of the box. Everything else is inside the toilet!
How Many Pooparoos Suprise Figures Are There?
There are eight different Pooparoos figures and you can collect them all! The large figure is the first blind box surprise type of experience the kids get with these.
You get one of eight figures:
- Purple Bunny
- Blue Bunny
- Panda
- Pink Bear
- White Unicorn
- Blue Monster
- Yellow Monster
- Corgi Dog
The variation in types of figures makes these great for both boys and girls!
We were excited to get the Yellow Monster and the Corgi Dog! The kids are already planning what they hope they get next (the Blue Monster and the White Unicorn, in case you’re wondering)!
Once the Pooparoos were open, they needed something to eat! So we filled the toilet bowls with water and got ready to see what our paper packs had inside!
The paper packs dissolve once they’re placed in the water. You use the scooper to stir them around and then scoop out! There are a ton of different surprises in the paper packs! They include cupcakes, hotdogs, macarons (which the kids believe are hamburgers), donuts and colorful piles of poo!
We didn’t get any duplicates in our packages. Each kid got a cupcake, a macaron/burger, and a poo. Both are hoping to get a hotdog next time!
I’ll admit that my favorite one we got was the pink glitter poo! I want to collect all of the tiny glitter poo figures!
According to the box, there are over 45 different figures that you can get in the paper packs!
Feeding the Pooparoos
Once the surprises are over and everything is open, the fun is just starting!
Feeding the Pooparoos is easy to do!
- Scoop up a food figure and feed it to the squishy Pooparoo figure. If you squeeze the sides of the body, it will open its mouth.
- Hold the Pooparoos figure in both hands or set it on the toilet.
- Squeeze down on the top of its head and it will poop the food out!
If you’re looking for a light-hearted toy that will have the kids rolling with laughter, Pooparoos Surpriseroos have got you covered!
Play isn’t limited to just eating the food either. The Pooparoos figures can chomp on other things and hold on, like fingers or pencils. I’ve seen ours being played with as pets in the dollhouse too! The little food figures have been served up for the crew that lives in the dollhouse more than a few times!
So there is a ton of open-ended play that the kids can do as well!
Another one of my favorite things about these toys is that all of the pieces can be stored right in the cute blue toilet! The small food characters and the scooper can fit in the bank tank (which has a lid that snaps shut) and the large Pooparoos figure fits right back in the toilet bowl!
It makes clean up easy and also makes these some of the easiest collectible toys to keep organized! If your child is in to collecting blind bags, organizing the figures and keeping track of them is a huge challenge.
Pooparoos makes that much easier for parents!
You can get Pooparoos Surpriseroos exclusively at Walmart. They’re available in stores and online so be sure to help your kids start their collection! Click here to add to your cart.
