Easy Back to School Teacher Gift
Back to school season has arrived which means new clothes, school supplies, and new teachers for most students. If you’re looking for an easy back to school teacher gift for your child to take to school for meet the teacher or the first day, I have an easy idea that I have enjoyed in the past!
What I love about this idea is that it’s very versatile. You can fill the jar with anything you want from drink mix like this version to extra school supplies or even a sweet treat for your child’s new teacher!
You might even have most of the supplies in your house! If not, it’s a very affordable gift idea that also works for a variety of occasions!
Give Teachers a Taste of Summer
For this gift jar, I opted for lemonade which speaks of summer to me. I thought lemonade would be a great way to help teachers hold on to a “taste of summer” but you could choose anything you wanted to fill your jars. Then find ribbon or streamers that coordinate and a paper or plastic straw that compliments the color scheme!
What you need:
- Mason jar
- Lemonade mix packets
- Yellow party streamer or ribbon
- Piece of yarn or string
- Blue straw
What you do:
- Fill the jar with drink mix packets and close with lid.
- Tie yellow streamers onto straw with string.
- Tape straw onto side of jar.
Add a personalized note to the mix and you have an easy back to school teacher gift that I know I would love to receive from my students!
This idea also works for teacher appreciation, the end of the school year, and even a general thank you gift for any occasion! Oh, and you can use it to make great neighbors gifts around the holiday season!
