Ways to Celebrate National Dog Week with Your Dog
So this week is National Dog Week and our pups are excited! Well, they will be when they realize that they’re getting even more attention than usual. (And I’m not sure how that is possible but it seems to be happening!)
Beneful recently did a survey of dog owners to find out what activities made their dogs the happiest. These are also some great ways to celebrate National Dog Week with your dog!
Here’s what they found out!
Mealtime is #1
The Beneful study found that our dogs are happiest at mealtime and that’s no surprise to us!
We make it special by choosing dog food that Toby and Sebastian love. We’ve been Beneful users for years now and are loving the new dry dog food recipes with real beef and chicken as the number one ingredient!
Why do we love Beneful even more these days?
- #1 ingredient is real beef or chicken
- No added sugar
- High quality ingredients
- Available in Beneful Originals and Beneful IncrediBites
Combined with their favorite varieties of Beneful Chopped Blends and Prepared Meals wet dog food, mealtime is definitely a hit around here!
Get Out and Walk
Based on the survey done by Beneful, 93% of dog owners believe their dogs are happiest going on walks! Toby is definitely a huge fan of walks.
Sebastian isn’t quite a pro yet but he’ll learn eventually… right? I blame his puppy state of mind! It’s all pretty exciting.
So get outside with your pup this week and take a walk to celebrate National Dog Week!
The Treat Factor
In the survey 93% of owners also shared that eating dog treats makes their dog happy. 88% said chewing a dog bone was right up there too.
So an easy and fun way to make your pup feel even more loved this week is to pick up some new treats or get them a good bone! Sebastian loves when we get him bones from the butcher at the store!
Some other popular and fun things to do with your dog this week that they’ll love include:
- Going for a car ride
- Playing fetch
- Going to the dog park
- Going for a jog
- Being brushed
Whatever you do with your dogs during National Dog Week, just enjoy being with them! They’re an important part of our lives!
Have a wonderful National Dog Week!
