One thing I love about living in The Woodlands, Texas area is the fact that we have so many local parks for the kids to play at! The Woodlands Parks offer so many great features for kids of all ages and are great options for outdoor play dates!
The Woodlands Parks Play Dates
The Woodlands area is north of Houston and after living here for a few years, we’re definitely starting to settle in. From The Woodlands Mall and Market Street for great shopping to the local parks and even The Woodlands Waterway for outdoor fun, there is always something for us to do! But with two little ones who are always on the move, getting outside when the weather is nice is always on the top of our list!
One of our favorite parks in the area is Teddy Bear Park. I love that it is on the smaller size and is completely fenced in. It also has climbing equipment and slides that are great for bigger kids and a set that is designed for the younger ones. It makes taking W and C to the park that much easier!
Some of The Woodlands Parks that are also our favorites are:
- Rob Fleming Park – It has a meadow of bluebonnets in the spring and also has an amazing aquatic center.
- Town Green Park – This park is located on The Woodlands Waterway and has a cute little maze with books that depict modern versions of Aesop’s Fables. It’s also right along the waterway path.
- Bear Branch Park – This park features play equipment for younger kids, a dog park, and a skate park.
These are just some of our favorites out of the 110 parks located throughout The Woodlands!
And when we head out to play at The Woodlands Parks I’m all about clothes for the kids that will hold up well to play, be comfortable, and still look cute. Yes, I’ll admit to wanting the cute factor!
So when we needed some new clothes as cooler weather settled in, I knew Gymboree would have something that I liked for both kids!
So these days we’re hitting The Woodlands Parks to play in our Gymboree gear. I even picked up some coats for the kids so we can continue to get outside as the weather gets even cooler.
