Chocolate Covered Cherry Cupcakes
Ingredients
1
box of Chocolate or Devil’s Food Cake
and ingredients listed on package
1
can Chocolate frosting
1
can cherry pie filling
Fresh cherries or maraschino cherries to garnish
if desired
Instructions
Prepare the cake mix according to the directions on the box and fill your cupcake liners 2/3 full.
Bake and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Then remove from pan and allow to cool fully on a wire rack.
Once cooled, make a hole in the middle of the cupcake with a small spoon or scoop. Fill with cherry pie filling.
Frost as desired and top with a cherry!
