Mushroom Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe
Ingredients

lb.
fettuccine
cooked to al dente
1
stick plus 1 TBS butter
2
cup
cream
3
garlic cloves
minced and divided
8
oz.
button mushrooms
sliced
1/2
cup
grated Parmesan cheese
3/4
cup
mozzarella cheese
shredded
Salt and Pepper to taste
Dried Parsley to taste
Instructions
Boil water and cook pasta according to directions on packaging.
While pasta is cooking, melt 1 stick butter in medium saucepan over medium-low heat.
Add 2 cloves garlic, cream, and black pepper to taste. Bring to a simmer stirring often.
Add Parmesan and stir until well blended.
Simmer 8-10 minutes until thickened.
Add mozzarella and stir frequently until blended and smooth. Set aside but keep warm.
In a medium skillet melt 1 TBS butter.
Add mushrooms and 1 minced garlic clove.
Saute 5-7 minutes or until browned. Add salt and pepper to taste.
When pasta is ready, drain well and place in a large bowl.
Toss with mushrooms and sauce. Garnish with parsley.
