Make a holiday meal for a smaller group with this easy turkey breast recipe. Prep your turkey and put it in the Crockpot! It's that simple to have a delicious holiday meal!
Cut the onion into thick slices and place the slices in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Rinse the turkey and set on top of onion slices.
Mix poultry seasoning with extra black pepper, if desired. Then rub the turkey breast with seasonings. If possible, rub some under the skin of the turkey.
Dot the turkey with the cubes of butter. If possible, put some butter underneath the skin.
Cook on LOW for 3-4 hours. Check the temperature periodically. When it reaches the internal temperature of 165°F, it's done cooking.
Let the turkey breast rest in the slow cooker on warm for 30 minutes. Then remove skin, slice, and serve!
Notes
If you use a bone-in turkey breast, cook on LOW for 4-6 hours. Check the internal temperature after four hours. Then continue to check until it is cooked.Alternative to McCormick® Poultry Seasoning:

1 tsp McCormick® Paprika
