Nuts are one of my favorite snacks. I’ll admit that I have to buy them in moderation because if we have them in the house, I will eat them all! Air Fryer Almonds are easy to make and you can make air fried almonds with any type of almond, including ones you buy flavored and packaged like Huy Fong Sriracha Almonds.

If you like toasted almonds, check out these easy steps and learn how to roast nuts in an air fryer!

Pouring air fryer almonds into a bowl

AIR FRYER ALMONDS

I learned to make almonds in the air fryer when I got a bag of plain almonds in a grocery order one time. Toasting nuts helps bring the oils to the surface of the nuts and gives a more intense nutty flavor. If you’re using plain almonds it also gives them a deeper color and makes the nuts crunchies.

After having warmed nuts on a plane trip once, I discovered that I love warming up my nuts at home too. Air fryer nuts are the quickest way to put together this favorite snack.

When we got the one and only Huy Fong Original Sriracha Almonds flavored with authentic Huy Fong Sriracha Seasoning, we broke open a bag to try them out. They combine crunchy almonds with bold, authentic sriracha flavor using the authentic Huy Fong brand Sauce.

If you like a good spicy snack, Huy Fong Original Sriracha Almonds are a great option! You can eat them out of the bag or add them to your favorite trail mix recipe to add a kick!

My husband likes the heat of Sriracha sauce. Huy Fong uses premium California almonds roasted in peanut oil and topped with authentic sriracha flavor from the authentic Huy Fong brand Sauce (aka Rooster Sauce as I’ve known it for a long time). We were excited to test out the heat!

HOW TO TOAST ALMONDS IN AIR FRYER

I knew I had to try my tried and true recipe for air fryer nuts to see how the Sriracha Almonds tasted when they were warmed up. You can follow these simple steps to make air fried almonds or any other air fryer nuts.

I learned how to do this using plain almonds, but it’s easy to toast up nuts like Sriracha Almonds by tweaking the recipe slightly.

Putting almonds in an air fryer basket to toast them

Spread almonds in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Cook at 350°F for 5-8 minutes.

Air Fryer Almonds in the basket of the fryer

Shake the basket halfway through the cooking time.

After 5 minutes, check the nuts every minute until they’re done and remove from the air fryer so they don’t burn.

Bowl of air fryer roasted almonds

Pour them into a bowl and allow them to cool until they’re just warm. The nuts will be soft when they’re hot but get crunchier as they cool.

You can store your almonds in an airtight container once they’re fully cooled.

This air fryer nuts recipe works well with any kind of nuts.

HOW TO WARM ALMONDS

To warm up our Huy Fong Original Sriracha Almonds, I put a cup of the almonds into the air fryer and cooked them at 350°F for 3-4 minutes. I shake the basket after two minutes and then keep my eye on them.

Once they’re done, I pull them out of the air fryer and let them cool a bit so they’re still warm. Then we enjoy!

It’s our favorite Sriracha Sauce in a snackable form that brings the heat! If you’re looking for another delicious way to enjoy Sriracha Almonds, try pairing them with sweet nuts for a delicious sweet and spicy treat!
