The air fryer makes cinnamon rolls so quick and delicious! You can heat up the oven and bake them like you usually would, but the air fryer adds a bit of crisp to the edges that just makes these cinnamon rolls taste homemade!

The perk is they will be done in less than 10 minutes and then you can enjoy them! Unless your air fryer model requires preheating, youโ€™ll save time by skipping the oven and trying them air fried!

Air Fryer Recipe Using Canned Dough

Air Fried Cinnamon Rolls are made with canned cinnamon rolls. I love these so much that Iโ€™m planning to make this recipe again soon. ย It basically eliminates all prep time! The total time you need to make them is just the cooking time.

Using the air fryer to bake cinnamon rolls prevents you from needing to heat up your house with the oven. Plus, using an air fryer is easier and there is less clean up needed.

Why Make Cinnamon Rolls in the Air Fryer?

    1. ย Easy Clean, No Mess: With this recipe, the mess is minimal since you do not need to use a cookie sheet. No cinnamon rolls burned on the pan and no greasy cookie sheet to clean.
    2. ย Save Time โ€“ I love using my air fryer for baking because it saves so much time. Making cinnamon rolls in an air fryer instead of the oven is a great way to save time.
    3. ย Saves Money โ€“ Since my cinnamon rolls were made using canned dough, it saved money to make them this way. I also didnโ€™t need to use my oven or buy any spices.
    4. ย Quick โ€“ It took me 10 minutes to make these delicious cinnamon rolls in the air fryer and they were ready to enjoy in a flash.

These cinnamon rolls are a great way to start your day! If you love cinnamon rolls, these will delight your taste buds.

How to Make Cinnamon Rolls in the Air Fryer

This recipe really has no prep time except the time it takes you to pop open the package and takes about 10 minutes to cook so itโ€™s a quick sweet treat that will have you enjoying warm cinnamon rolls before you know it!

To make this recipe youโ€™ll need the following ingredients:

    • 1 package of cinnamon rolls (with icing included)

I recommend using the regular-sized rolls, but you can play with different brands and types of store-bought cinnamon rolls to see how they work in your fryer.

Step 1. If you need to preheat your air fryer, heat it to 350หšF.

Step 2. Place a parchment paper liner in the bottom of the air fryer basket or spray with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 3. Carefully pop open the tube of rolls.

Step 4. Put the cinnamon rolls in a circle around the outer edge of the basket and place one in the center of the circle. The cinnamon rolls can be touching inside the basket.

Step 5. Cook at 350หšF for 10 minutes. After the cooking time is up, check to ensure the cinnamon rolls are cooked through. If needed, add 2 to 3 more minutes to the cook time. You want the rolls to be golden brown on top. (Please note: Cook time can vary from air fryer to air fryer depending on the model. Some just cook hotter than others. You can check the cinnamon rolls early to make sure theyโ€™re not burning. Try around the 6 minute mark.)

Step 6. When the cinnamon rolls are done, spread the icing on top immediately, then allow to cool slightly before serving.

You can also customize your cinnamon rolls by sprinkling them with powdered sugar or make it fun with something like sprinkles! If you want to add a touch of homemade to canned rolls, consider making your own cream cheese frosting!

    How to Store Leftovers

You can store your leftover cinnamon rolls in an airtight container. You want to make sure they donโ€™t sit out in the air or they will harden. You can store them in your refrigerator or at room temperature for 2-3 days.

    Recipe FAQs

HOW CAN I REHEAT CINNAMON ROLLS IN THE AIR FRYER?

You can make a batch ahead of time and reheat in the air fryer. To reheat, place your cinnamon rolls in the basket (without the parchment paper) and set it to 400หšF for approximately 3-5 minutes or until they are warm.

HOW MANY CINNAMON ROLLS WILL FIT IN AN 8 QT AIR FRYER?

This question is a great one! I was able to give the answer to this and it depends on how big your cinnamon rolls are. My cinnamon rolls were approximately 3 inches in diameter, so I was able to fit 6 in my basket. So, depending on the size of your air fryer, you may be able to fit more cinnamon rolls.

CAN I MAKE PILLSBURY GRANDS CINNAMON ROLLS IN THE AIR FRYER?

Yes! You can also use Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls in the air fryer. The air fryer will bake them just as well. Since Grands cinnamon rolls are larger you will need to add 3 to 5 minutes to your air fry time to make sure they get all the way done in the center.

WHAT TEMP DO YOU PUT CINNAMON ROLLS IN AN AIR FRYER?

This is the best question! It takes about 10 minutes to bake cinnamon rolls in a 350หšF air fryer. If youโ€™re baking at a higher temperature, then you will want to reduce the cooking time.

So, if you are looking for a quick breakfast, this is it!

SHOULD YOU USE PARCHMENT PAPER IN AN AIR FRYER?

Yes, you can use parchment paper to line your air fryer basket to make cleaning up easier. There is no need to wash the air fryer if you use parchment paper as long as you donโ€™t spray it with cooking spray or oil before baking the cinnamon rolls.

If you donโ€™t have parchment paper, you can use non-stick cooking spray or a spritz of oil.

Terrible recipe! 10 minutes way too long! Tops burnt to a crisp. Don’t try this one. Doubt the poster has ever even made these. In the trash they go.

Cook time can vary from air fryer model to air fryer model. I’m sorry that 10 minutes was too long in your air fryer. I would recommend trying a shorter time and keeping an eye on them to learn how long it takes your air fryer to cook them.
