    Air Fryer S’mores

With these easy air fried S’mores, you don’t need skewers or fire. You don’t have to worry about burning your marshmallow. While you might not get that extra smokey campfire experience, you will still get delicious s’mores in minutes.

So if you want a sweet treat or the weather isn’t good for a night by the fire pit, get your air fryer out!

    Why You’ll Love This Recipe

    • Super Convenient: The air fryer simplifies s’mores preparation, making it easy and saving you time!
    • Family-Friendly Fun: This is a great recipe for everyone in the family! With help, even the youngest can get involved!
    • Indoor Treat: Savor the classic taste of s’mores without a campfire which makes them perfect for nights when you’re stuck inside.

    Ingredients & Equipment

Before making air fryer s’mores, ensure you have all necessary ingredients and your air fryer ready. You will need:

    • Graham crackers – classic S’mores base
    • Marshmallows – you’ll use marshmallow halves to help them stick to the graham crackers
    • Chocolate bars – I used classic milk chocolate but you can use your favorite type of chocolate

For full ingredient measurements, please see the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

You’ll also need a few other things from your kitchen:

    • Air Fryer
    • Kitchen shears (great for cutting marshmallows)

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.

    2. Break each graham cracker in half and place four of the pieces in the basket of the air fryer. (You don’t want the graham crackers to touch so if you only have room for two pieces at a time, you can do two at a time.)

    3. Cut each marshmallow in half and place the sticky side on top of the graham cracker.Press the marshmallows in place to keep them from moving off the crackers in the air fryer.
    4. Place the graham crackers in the air fryer basket and cook for 2-3 minutes. When the marshmallows begin to brown, remove the basket and put one half of a chocolate bar on top of the marshmallow.

    5. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for 1-2 minutes or until the chocolate begins to melt. Keep a close eye on the smores to make sure they don’t start to burn.
    6. Top each of the smores with the remaining graham crackers and serve!

    S’mores Variations

If you’re looking for fun and delicious ways to change up your S’mores, try one of these ideas:

    • Cookies instead of graham crackers
    • Crackers instead of graham crackers for a salty/sweet combo – I recommend trying Ritz crackers or saltine crackers.
    • Dark chocolate or white chocolate
    • Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
    • Different candy bar – Snickers, Milky Way, Hershey bar with almonds (the nuts add a great hint of salt)
    • Nutella spread on the graham crackers instead of chocolate
    • Fruit slices can be added between the chocolate and marshmallow – try bananas or strawberries.

    Leftovers & Storage

Because you can make these in single servings or small servings, there aren’t usually any leftovers. You can make them as you want to eat them. I don’t recommend storing leftovers as reheated S’mores just aren’t quite the same. But you can always store them in an airtight container at room temperature. for about 24 hours.

    Tips & Tricks

    • If you’re using a smaller air fryer, you can make two S’mores at a time instead of four. Different sized air fryer baskets will impact the number of graham crackers you can air fry at one time.
    • I recommend watching the cook time as it varies by air fryer. I usually check the marshmallows after two minutes to make sure they’re not cooking too quickly. You want them to be a golden brown and not too crispy (unless you’re the kind who likes the burnt marshmallow vibe)!
    • If your air fryer fan is powerful and the marshmallows are moving off your graham crackers, I recommend cutting them in half and placing them stick side down on the graham cracker. You can also use a toothpick to hold them on.
