The rebuilding process is still in full force here. Red Cross Giving Day 2018 meals

    American Red Cross Giving Day

It’s been a trying time in our area, but also a time where the community has come together. We’ve had so many opportunities to donate both time and money to those in need in our area.

But the need never ends. If it’s not happening in our own community, there is always a need somewhere else. Disasters don’t take a vacation. Which means we need to all continue to come together and take care of each other! House ruined during Hurricane Harvey - American Red Cross GIving Day donates to families who lose their homes to disaster. Did you know that the American Red Cross meets a family that has lost everything nearly every eight minutes? Disaster doesn’t stop for holidays or during the night.

Each day there are families losing everything due to home fires or other disasters. The home full of memories, their clothes, and even their most cherished possessions.

I cannot even imagine what they must feel like during those first few hours. American Red Cross Giving Day benefits families during disasters like Hurricane Harvey 2017

Red Cross Giving Day on March 28th

The American Red Cross Giving Day is on Wednesday, March 28th. It’s a 24-hour fundraising event that is focused on raising money to help support disaster relief work.
