Have you ever donated blood? I know how important it is, but did you know that only 3 out of 100 Americans donate blood, and every two seconds someone needs it, so there just aren’t enough people donating blood to help all of the patients who are in need!
I’m sharing about the Missing Types campaign in partnership with Boise Paper.
AMERICAN RED CROSS MISSING TYPES
The Missing Types campaign from The American Red Cross is an international movement that asks us all to roll up our sleeves and help save lives!
The type of patients in need of blood include a variety of people like:
- Kids battling cancer
- Accident victims in the emergency room
- New moms who’ve had complicated births
- and many more!
What if you found yourself in need and your blood type wasn’t available? What if your child needed blood?
There are a variety of blood types, but A, B, and O are the main blood groups. When there isn’t enough blood donated, these types might not be available for patients in need!
We might be missing some letter types, but we can bring them back! Without A, B, and O, we can’t save everyone! We can all help fill the #MissingTypes that patients need! Make a pledge to donate blood at https://rcblood.org/2QgrVLP and visit RedCrossBlood.org/MissingTypes to make an appointment today.
