I recently learned that up to 90% of Americans aren’t getting enough fruits and vegetables. And up to 90% of us might be falling short of getting the key nutrients we need each day!

This is a weakness I know that we have in my busy family. This is why New! One A Day with Natureโ€™s Medley has become part of our daily routine for nutritional support. It’s my new secret weapon in helping me care for my family.

They’re helping me up my nutrition game!

One a Day with Nature's Medley multivitamins for men, women, and kids

A great daily multivitamin helps me fill in the nutritional gaps we might have. It’s available for Men, Women, and Kids ages 4 and up. The gummies are free from artificial flavors and sweeteners.

They also helped me realize that I needed to up my healthy snack game a bit. This is how I discovered apple nachos.

They’re not a snack that can travel well, but they’re perfect for those afternoons when we’re all together. It’s easy to make these fruit nachos a completely healthy snack for kids. But it’s also easy to tweak the healthy apple nachos just a bit and turn them into a healthier sweet treat.

Ingredients needed to make Apple Nachos

    Apple Nachos Ingredients

For this batch of Apple Nachos, we used the following ingredients.

    • 1-2 Honeycrisp apples, sliced
    • 1/2 cup French vanilla yogurt dip
    • 4 large strawberries, diced
    • 15-20 fresh blueberries
    • 1/2 kiwi, diced
    • 1/4 cup coconut flakes
    • 1/4 cup chocolate peanut butter candy bits (this was where we splurged a bit for this batch!)

Our recipe is a twist basic fruit slices and fruit dip. If your kids are picky eaters, I suggest trying apple slices and a yogurt type of fruit dip. Then you can branch into fruit-based snacks with a bit more to them like apple nachos. Or just use your fruit dip and apple slices to make a basic dish of healthy apple nachos!

I love an easy recipe that I can adapt for different members of the family.
