Being a good parent means that you need to teach your child ethics about what is right and what is wrong. Boundaries and consistency are the keys to good discipline. Be kind and strong when enforcing these rules. Pay attention to the reason for the child’s behavior. Children must feel safe and healthy, their basic survival needs must be met: shelter, food, clothing, medical care, and protection from harm.
