    BERRY BANANA FRO-WHIP

I’ll admit that we’ve been doing a lot of baking around our house. The kids enjoy it, I can throw some hands-on learning in, and we get to enjoy tasty treats. I have a huge sweet tooth so I’m all about it.

But while we’re at home together, I’m doing my best to offer my family variety in the snacks and meals we’re having. I’m trying to balance sweet treats while still eating well. This week we made our own version of Dole Berry-Banana Fro-Whip and it was a hit with the whole family!

This Dole whip recipe is so simple to make and is a great way to get your kids eating more fruit!

HOW TO MAKE BERRY BANANA FRO-WHIP

For this take on homemade Dole whip, I depended on Dole products I had in our freezer. For this version, you need these basic pineapple dole whip ingredients:

    • DOLE Bananas
    • DOLE Frozen Tropical Gold Pineapple Chunks
    • DOLE Frozen Mixed Berries
    • Powdered Sugar
    • Milk

I love how easy it is to keep everything on hand in the freezer for this Berry Banana Fro-Whip recipe. I’m pretty sure this will become a staple for us once the summer heat hits!

Before you make Banana Berry Fro-Whip, be sure to peel your bananas. Then cut them into thirds and freeze them. Using frozen fruit means you don’t need any ice or anything to make this cold treat.

Add all of the fruit to the blender and top with the powdered sugar.

Puree the fruit to your desired consistency.

Add the milk and blend until smooth.

    Serve and enjoy!

You can also turn this Banana Berry Fro-Whip into a delicious smoothie. All you have to do is add more milk to the blender until you get the smoothie thickness that you like!
