.I recently had the opportunity to stay at The Fairmont San Francisco while on a press trip for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It was a few weeks before Christmas so I had the luxury to experience a bit of Christmas at The Fairmont. It was absolutely incredible!
Christmas at The Fairmont San Francisco
Before my visit, I did a little research and learned about all of the Christmas holiday offerings at The Fairmont San Francisco. I love holiday decor and really all things Christmas in December, so I was really excited to check it all out!
The Fairmont happens to be one of San Francisco’s grand historical hotels and it was the tradition of being turned into a winter wonderland in December.
While the lobby is an incredible place that took my breath away when I stepped inside, the first thing I spotted was an amazing Christmas tree. I love a good Christmas tree and this one really took my breath away.
But the real centerpiece is the incredible Gingerbread House that is constructed in the lobby. The hotel is known around the world for it’s two-story gingerbread house. This year it was over 22 feet high and 23 feet wide. It is made of thousands of homemade gingerbread bricks, gallons of royal icing, and candy decorations that will make you drool.
It’s really a sight to be seen!
You can also enjoy some of the other amazing holiday offerings at The Fairmont San Francisco, including:
- Stay in the Santa Suite
- Christmas Eve Dinner at Laurel Court Restaurant & Bar
- Crown Room Christmas Day Brunch Buffet
- Christmas Day at Laurel Court Restaurant & Bar
- Gingerbread Holiday Tea
