Even dogs can make changes for the better in the new year with healthy dry dog food and new habits! Check out how we’re making changes in our dogs’ diet to live a healthier life this year!
Our experience was sponsored by Supreme Source® as part of an Ambassador Program for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.
Detoxing with Healthy Dry Dog Food
This year I’ve been focused a lot on self-care and getting my family more active. Truth is that our dogs are an important part of our family. If I’m focusing on health and lifestyle for the rest of the family, it’s important to look at Toby and Sebastian too!
Things like healthy dry dog food, more exercise, and regular health checks are important for our pets. So while the rest of us are working on new habits, I’m helping the dogs do the same!
We’ve teamed up with Supreme Source® to embark on a 10-day pet detox including Supreme Source Grain Free Turkey Meal & Sweet Potato Dry Dog Food!
Toby has been my baby since before we had kids. We adopted Toby from a local rescue just a few months after we got married and he’s been with us since then! He’s ten years old and so he has days where he takes it easy.
But most days he’s running around with Sebastian, not acting like he’s older at all. It’s fun to have so many memories with Toby and I want him to be with us as long as possible. So I’m all about making sure he’s in good physical health!
Healthy Dry Dog Food & More
The idea behind the detox is that while I think a lot about my family’s diet, I don’t always think as much about what the dogs are eating. But just as the food we eat fuels our bodies throughout the day, whatever Toby is putting in his mouth is doing the same for him.
The new year comes with resolutions for better living and as the weather warms up here, it’s a great time to change things up a bit.
Supreme Source Pet Food offers healthy ingredients that can help me fuel my boys while detoxing their system. This will be the first time Toby tries a grain-free diet and I’m excited to see how the healthy enzymes and prebiotics impact they’re bodies!
I hope to help improve their digestive, emotional and physical health this year!
While my focus is on making the switch to our new Supreme Source Grain Free Turkey Meal & Sweet Potato Dry Dog Food, that’s not all that goes into making sure our pets are living a bit healthier this year.
In addition to making the food switch, there are a few other things I’m making sure we do during our ten-day detox.
- Daily play time
- Neighborhood walks 2-3 times a week
- Water always available for the dogs
- Brushing teeth every day
My goal is to make sure they continue to be active dogs. Some of our family walks will be including the dogs so they get more exercise than they have been getting.
We’ve been dealing with a lot of rainy weather so I also want to make sure that on those days, we play with them even more. Tug games are great and we even have some soft balls that can be chased when we’re inside.
The detox has inspired me to make a few changes so that our dogs are living a better life this year, just like the rest of us!
