Easy Christmas Cookies: Peppermint Cake Mix Cookies

Christmas time just screams baking to me! I love to get in the kitchen and whip up some tasty treats for my family. But, as you know by now, I’m a fan of recipes that are easy which is why I love making Easy Christmas Cookies!

And when I spotted M&M’S White Chocolate Peppermint candies, I knew we had to have some cookies that used them! And when it comes to easy, there is nothing better than cake mix cookies!

And enjoy you will!

We enjoyed these so much that I had to quickly get out Target exclusive Glad Holiday storage I had bought to pack some up for Grambo to take to work with her. We love to share our holiday goodies so I had to put some away quick. And Glad storage has exclusive holiday prints for containers and wraps (only available at Target) that’s perfect for storing your holiday baked goods or gifting them to friends, family, and co-workers! So it worked out perfectly for us!

Target exclusive M&M’S® Holiday recipes are featured on the back of the Target exclusive Glad Holiday packaging too! So we just had to try our hand at one of the recipes too! I tell you, I’m all about the holiday goodies! I may not bake very often but when Christmas rolls around I’m ready to do it almost every single day!

Black and White Peppermint Brownies #HolidayBaking

Black & White Peppermint Brownies

These were a huge hit with everyone who tried them and were also super easy to make! The original recipe calls for a bit more mint than I wanted so we tweaked the recipe just slightly to make it fit our tastes. I love recipes that can be changed up without much effort!

What you need:

  • Sugar cookie mix
  • Brownie mix
  • 1/2 cup Holiday sprinkles
  • Cookie frosting
  • 1 bag M&M’S® White Chocolate Peppermint (exclusively at Target)

What you do:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare sugar cookie mix according to the directions on the packaging. Press dough into the bottom of a 9×13 pan.
  3. Prepare brownie mix according the packaging. Pour over sugar cookie dough.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  5. Decorate with cookie frosting and sprinkles. Allow frosting to harden.
  6. Garnish with Holiday M&M’S® candies.
  7. Slice and enjoy!

My holiday baking is definitely made easier with M&M’S® White Chocolate Peppermint and Glad Holiday Storage products! My treats were a hit with everyone who tried them! And everyone wants the recipes!
