This post is a paid promotion by Fisher-Price, and all opinions are my own. Thank you, Fisher Price, for sending us these products.

As a former educator with two kids of my own, imaginative play is extremely important to me. I think it’s a huge part of our children’s lives! My kids are pretty good at gathering up their favorite toys and coming up with some pretty fun things, but I’m always on the hunt for new ways to encourage their creativity and imagination!

EASY IMAGINATIVE PLAY WITH WONDER MAKERS™

My kids love different kinds of blocks. They have since they were little. Now that Carrigan is finishing up preschool, it’s fun to see that she still loves creating her own worlds with the toys she has. Wonder Makers™ toys from Fisher-Price are the newest addition to the toys we have that encourage creative play.

Let me tell you a little bit more about Wonder Makers toys before we take you into the worlds of wonder that Carrigan has spent hours creating. (Yes, she has played with these products for hours, which means it’s definitely kid-approved!)
The Wonder Makers Design System was created for preschoolers and is available exclusively on Amazon. If you’re looking for a convenient way to add versatile toys to your child’s collection, Wonder Makers toys will be available on Prime Day (July 15th – July 16th) for Prime Members!

If you’re looking for toys that aren’t electronic (aren’t we all?), that your kids will like whether they’re boys or girls, and that offer enough variety to keep them engaged, Wonder Makers toys have got it all.
I love watching her create her own worlds and then interact with them! It’s imaginative, interactive play at its best (and has been great on our extremely hot summer afternoons when we’re stuck inside)!

Wonder Makers™ Post Office from Fisher-Price

Carrigan loves that she can build and re-build over and over again. The pieces are versatile and can be used in tons of different ways. It’s a building and track set all in one. One thing we like to do together with the Wonder Makers toys is to start with a build from the booklet that comes with the set, and then let Carrigan’s imagination take over from there. She has mastered following the step by step directions!

She likes to see what the build looks like before she’s off creating her own worlds. The mix and match play pieces make it seem like the options are limitless.

The Wonder Makers Post Office is a favorite in our house. It has gorgeous artwork that Carrigan loves, and I love the little details like the mail envelopes and the packages. The stories are always changing with different people (from different sets) visiting the post office.

All of the figures have two sides — one where they’re facing forward and one where they’re facing to the side. When I listen to her play, I hear her stories changing depending on which side of the figure she’s using.

These are the details that make me really appreciate the quality of the play sets.

The sets are full of familiar pieces like characters she might see in her daily life as well as vehicles and plants! The details make the sets more fun to play with! Pieces are made from different materials including fabric, wood, rubber, and plastic. It’s something that really sets it apart from other toys she’s had in the past.

The fact that she can use the same wood piece to be the wall of a building, a sign, or a piece of a track makes it feel like the play could go on and on forever!

The other day I watched Carrigan turn her Wonder Makers™ tractor into a stretcher that was pulled by the vehicle she was using as an ambulance. She turned the Beach Cabana into the hospital and played out a story from her own life early this year when she rode in an ambulance.

Whether she’s pulling from her own life or dreaming up a new adventure, the fact that she has spent so long playing with the Wonder Makers Design System makes it a product I’m glad we’ve added to our playroom.

The only reason she’s gotten her tablet out while playing with Wonder Makers toys is to take photos and play music. That was the time she told me all the characters were going to a concert!

Wonder Makers toys are available ONLY on Amazon (so convenient!) and are a part of the Prime Day launch.

    Design.

    Explore.

    Imagine.

The Wonder Makers™ Design System means there’s no wrong way to play and each day is something new!
