ELF ON THE SHELF ACCESSORIES
Every year I find more and more accessories and clothing options for our elves. Whether you have a boy or a girl elf, there’s always some cute things for each of them!
I’ll be honest, we didn’t start our Elf on the Shelf tradition in earnest until the kids were asking if we could have an elf visit, so I’ve only recently started to get super into it. Before that, I’d just put our elf around the house, but it never got too crazy.
Even now, I do like to keep it simple. So I find myself buying all of the cute outfits and the accessories that make it easy to set the scene.
If you still need an elf, click to shop for yours now!
Don’t worry, you don’t have to start getting crafty or learning to sew to have adorable things for your elf. Just check out some of my favorite finds and get stocked up for this holiday season!
CLOTHES FOR ANY ELF
I love a good hoodie so it’s definitely one of my favorite options. These outfits all work great for both boy and girl elves. If you have more than one elf (like we do), it’s great to have options on hand that can work for any of them!
The Elf on the Shelf graphic tee multipack is a great way to get a few things to keep on hand.

If you like to theme your days with your Elf on the Shelf, I love the Claus Couture options. There are new outfits each year, but the hula wear and the gingerbread are two of my absolute favorites.
I think the Sweet Shop set and the Jolly Gingerbread set would be perfect for a baking cookies theme on one day of your elf’s stay!
Our boy elf was the first to visit our house, but once I had a daughter who was old enough to realize what was going on, she started to ask about her own elf.
That was when I fell in love with all of the outfits that are more specific to the female elves.

We have all of the skirts in our collection! I have my eye on the Merry Mermaid this year. Wouldn’t an under the sea idea be fun? Or maybe your elf is just hanging out by the sink (since most of us don’t have a pool in our homes)!
The Snowy Sugarplum Duo is perfect for anything you do related to The Nutcracker. If you have tickets to a local production, it would be the perfect outfit for your elf to wear that day!
Having a stash of clothes for your Elf on the Shelf ensures you’ll be ready to do even the most simple change each day.
CLOTHING FOR BOYS
If you only have a boy elf, there are some specific outfits just for them. They pack just as much cute and fun factor as the pieces for the girl elves.
I absolutely love the Dapper Tuxedo! It pairs so well with the Dazzling Dress in our favorite girl outfits.
The Donut Be Naughty PJs are perfect for a pajama party or sleepover themed set up. If you give your kids new pajamas for Christmas each year, it’s fun to have your elf wear pajamas too!
You can also get a Sugarplum Soldier outfit for the boy elf for the Nutcracker theme as I mentioned with the girl elf outfit.
FUN ACCESSORY KITS
The Elf on the Shelf accessory kits are the items that make starting an Elf tradition extremely easy to do. If you want to have your elf do cute things each day, but don’t feel like you have it in you to get super creative, these accessories will save the day!
Yes, we already own most of them. I’m okay admitting that.
