4 Times When Moms Don’t Want To Have Bad Breath

None of us want to have bad breath, but there are some times when it seems like having bad breath would be even more inconvenient than normal. As a busy mom, I find myself chatting with all sorts of people throughout the week. Fellow moms, teachers, coaches, and of course, my kids. Having fresh breath is important but there are a few situations where it’s even more important to have fresh breath!

Have you ever experienced any of these?

    FIGHTING BAD BREATH

Did you know that 90% of bad breath is caused by a dirty tongue?

I didn’t! I had no clue if I’m being honest! I knew bad breath was a pretty common problem, but I didn’t really know why.

I’ve seen tongue cleaning products but always thought that if I included my tongue when I brush my teeth that I’d always have it covered. Then I learned that the tightly packed bristles of our toothbrushes are really best for smooth surfaces like our teeth.

Getting the opportunity to try the Orabrush® Tongue Cleaner gave me the chance to learn more about bad breath and how I could add the tongue cleaner to my daily oral health routine.

But first, it got me thinking about some particular times in my life when it felt really important to have fresh breath. Ever found yourself digging in your purse for a mint right before you visit with your child’s teacher?

Those are the moments I’m talking about!

MEET THE TEACHER & PARENT CONFERENCES

My kids started school back in July and we had a great time at Meet the Teacher. My son has the same two teachers that he had last year and we love them! My daughter started kindergarten so it was an exciting time.

But Meet the Teacher is one of those times when you can’t be worrying about bad breath! You want to make a good impression on the teacher just as much as you want your child to make a good impression.

Fast forward to parent-teacher conferences and the same is true. When it comes to school and meetings about our kids, the last thing we want to worry about is bad breath! It cannot come to the conference with us!

I feel like a new Orabrush® Tongue Cleaner for mom is a great addition to the school supply list!

    BEDTIME STORY

Kids will say pretty much anything right? So the last thing you want to do is cuddle up for a bedtime story with them and hear them announce that you have bad breath. So either sit up a little straighter so you’re not as close to them or take care of your breath and snuggle up close.

You know if your kids think you have bad breath, they’re going to tell you!

    MOTHER’S DAY

Along the same lines as those bedtime stories is Mother’s Day. It should be a day where we get to relax and not worry about anything. But it’s also just another day so you know your kids will let you know if you have bad breath.

Luckily it’s pretty easy to make sure we have fresh breath before heading out to Mother’s Day brunch with the family!

    DATE NIGHT

This one is pretty self-explanatory. We’re a busy family so when Justin and I get out for a date night or even a date afternoon without the kids, we don’t want to be worrying about bad breath. Sure, some of it can be caused by whatever we get to eat, but even that can be handled with help from Orabrush®!

Whether you’re going out for a big night on the town together or you’re just grabbing a quiet lunch, you don’t have to worry about how you’re going to freshen your breath! I’m using it because it helps me feel more confident no matter what I’m doing!

HOW ORABRUSH® HELPS FIGHT BAD BREATH

Yes, those were some silly examples but also some true situations most of us experience. Trying out the Orabrush® Tongue Cleaner, I learned that it offers dual-action technology with micro pointed bristles (which are designed after a surgeon’s scrub brush) and a built-in scraper.

    This accomplishes two things:

    • The bristles lift bacteria from deep in the uneven crevices of the tongue.
    • The built-in scraper removes bacteria from the surface of the tongue.

This helps collect and remove the bacteria which helps fight bad breath! So while the Orabrush® Tongue Cleaner doesn’t replace your toothbrush, it’s a great addition to your oral care routine. Mine has found a home right next to my toothbrush!
