Around here, we’re all about family-friendly meals. That means I depend on certain brands that have been kid-approved in our house when I’m making meals. When it comes to seafood, Gorton’s is a brand that is often found in our freezer! My kids love the Crunchy Fish Sticks! They’re perfect as a main dish or as part of delicious recipes like our Baked Crunchy Fish Sticks Macaroni Casserole.

Gorton’s products now have re-designed packaging so be sure to look for it on your next shopping trip. Because Gorton’s Crunchy Fish Sticks are made from 100% real fish with no fillers and simple ingredients, they’re on my shopping list almost every week!

Even though Gorton’s products have a new look, the leader in prepared frozen seafood is still bringing us the same trusted favorites!

Check out what we had for dinner the other night and then make your own Baked Crunchy Fish Sticks Macaroni Casserole!

    What You Need:

    • 3 cups Macaroni and Cheese (to make it easier, I bought pre-package macaroni and cheese that we just had to heat)
    • 10 Gorton’s Crunchy Fish Sticks
    • 1/2 cup frozen peas
    • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

    What You Do:

    1. Heat over to 400 degrees.
    2. Prepare frozen peas, fish sticks, and macaroni and cheese according to directions on packaging.
    3. Cut baked fish sticks into quarters.
    4. In a large bowl, mix the macaroni and cheese, peas, and fish sticks together.
    5. Spray an 8×6 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray then pour mixture into dish.
    6. Bake for 15 minutes then remove from oven and top with cheese.
    7. Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    8. Enjoy!

It’s a tasty way to change things up a bit using ingredients that the kids love! And when we’re looking for a dinner that has more of a focus on smarter solutions for the adults in the family, we have a new staple — Gorton’s Skillet Crisp Tilapia!

The Skillet Crisp Fillets are lightly coated, with 30% less coating than the regular battered fillets, which gives me the same great flavor while the kids enjoy their Crunchy Fish Sticks!

The Skillet Crisp Fillets are created specifically for stovetop cooking, so they cook up crisp and delicious on your stovetop, no need to turn on the oven. That is great when the temperatures are still pretty warm outside around here!

Pair with some of our favorite easy side dishes and dinner is ready in no time!

Recently we did a simple green salad that was so easy to make! Buy a package of your favorite mixed greens and Raspberry Vinaigrette salad dressing. It pairs amazingly well with the Skillet Crisp Tilapia!
