    Learn How to Make Homemade Peeps for Easter Fun!

    When it comes to Easter, I have to admit that one of the first things I think of are PEEPS! It’s like just part of Easter to have one or two. But if you’re looking to skip the ones in the store, you can have fun with your kids learning how to make homemade peeps!

    It’s an easy way to spend some time together making a treat you can all enjoy!

    Learn how to make homemade peeps to celebrate Easter with your kids! These are easy to make marshmallow pops!

    How to Make Homemade Peeps

    The great thing about learning how to make homemade peeps is that they’re super easy to make and you can make them for an occasion! Because you’re just using marshmallows, you can change up the color sprinkles that you use to make this homemade peeps recipe!

    Need something easy for Memorial Day or the 4th of July? Just pick up some red and blue sugar sprinkles instead of the pastel that we used for this Easter version! In minutes you’ll have some festive homemade peeps marshmallow pops to enjoy!

    What You Need for Homemade Peeps Recipe

    • Large marshmallows
    • Candy sticks
    • Pastel colored sugar crystal sprinkles
    • Water
    • Piece of floral foam or Styrofoam

    If you don’t have floral foam or Styrofoam, you can always fill a cup with sugar and stand your marshmallow pops up in it!

    How to Make Homemade Peeps

    1. Place sticks in marshmallows to turn them into marshmallow pops.
    2. Dip each in water to dampen and dab lightly on a paper towel to remove excess water.
    3. Roll each in sprinkles, covering evenly.
    4. Place sticks in floral foam, standing upright to dry.
    5. When dry, place in a cup for easy enjoyment!

      How long can these sit out for? I was thinking about using them as centerpieces and then letting the kids eat them after dinner.
