How to Clean Car Interior in 3 Easy Steps

    Family Life

Busy moms spend a lot of time in the car. Whether we’re in the car rider line or driving from one activity to another, the family car is almost an extension of our house! As a baseball mom, I also have the added fun of red dirt from the baseball field to add into the mix. Knowing how to clean the car interior is important to me!

I don’t love cleaning but I like it when our cars look and feel good. So I’ve got a few easy steps that you can take to get your car clean and ready for whatever your family throws at it next!

This post is sponsored by Armor All but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

    HOW TO CLEAN CAR INTERIOR

Yes that’s the back of my car on most days during fall and spring baseball season. It’s full of gear that collects the red dirt from the ball fields. That dirt doesn’t just stay in the back either. It finds its way all over the place.

We also do a lot of eating on our way to games and practice. Everyone seems to want a snack after school too, so a lot of food gets eaten. That means we have crumbs and sometimes spills. Our car is truly our family car!

Every Mother’s Day I ask for the same gift — for my car to be detailed. I love the first time I get in the van after it’s been detailed. It’s just such a nice feeling. Plus, it’s important that we try and take care of our vehicles because we want them to last for a long time and I want them to still look good years from now.

My kids keep us busy and they really put our car to good use. Whether we’re loading up baseball gear or eating in the car on the way to practice, our car can take a beating.

Getting the car detailed once a year isn’t quite enough so I find myself cleaning the inside of the car every few months. It takes a little time but it’s really not a hard task. Even the kids like helping out. When I started using Armor All wipes, it got a lot easier! Disposable wipes mean convenience for me!

If you’re dreading it, tackle car interior cleaning with these three easy steps!

    1. GET THE CLEAN DONE

The first thing I do is clean the entire interior. This sometimes involves me getting the vacuum or the cordless vacuum to do a deeper clean. But my main tool for making it easy is my container of Armor All Cleaning wipes!

Armor All Cleaning wipes lift away dirt and debris. When they’re used as directed, they’re safe for delicate automotive surfaces. They work great on that ground in dirt and the red dirt coating I find all over the inside of my car after a week of baseball games!

So step one is to wipe everything done and get it nice and clean! They work great on the entire interior of the car so be sure to try them on the dash, consoles, and carpet. They work on vinyl, fabric, and leather. They won’t dry out or damage the surfaces and they don’t leave a greasy residue on your hands.

    2. PROTECT THE INTERIOR OF YOUR CAR

My next step is the extra effort I take to make sure my car is looking great for years to come. Again, Armor All wipes have made this step so easy!

The Armor All Original Protectant wipes help fight fading, discoloration, aging and cracking. They renew and revitalize a variety of surfaces including vinyl, rubber, and plastic. I love the beautiful shine they leave behind without leaving a residue on my hands!

    3. MAKE THE WINDOWS SPARKLE

Once the rest of the inside of the car is clean, you have to hit the windows. They’re like the cherry on top. Having clean windows just makes the entire car feel clean and ready to roll. Armor All Glass wipes are formulated to deliver spotless, sparkling glass with amazing clarity and shine.

Wiping the window of a car with a wipe

The wipes help remove residue, bugs, and grime from the road. They’re amazing when it comes to fingerprints and dog nose prints! That’s one of my favorite things about cleaning windows! I love saying goodbye to all of those prints on the windows!

The wipes are also residue-free and you don’t have to deal with any streaks or hazy windows.

With Armor All wipes in hand, cleaning the interior of our cars has gotten a lot easier and I find myself doing it more often. I like that I can maintain the beauty of our car’s interior surfaces with Armor All products in between my annual detailing!

Now you can get convenient three-pack canisters that feature a moisture lock lid to keep wipes fresh. They can be stored for use whenever you need them (for up to a year).
