How to Get White Teeth (Easily) & Keep Them!

With Spring just around the corner, that itch to get some Spring cleaning done starts to make itself known. For me, it’s not just about cleaning around the house. It’s also about getting myself “cleaned up.” This is the time of year when I start craving a haircut or a new style. I start thinking about getting some new clothes and I also look at my teeth and my smile. Learning how to get white teeth easily has been one of my missions!

So today I’m sharing how to whiten your teeth and keep them looking great with some simple dental cleaning tips!

These tips are sponsored by Crest.

Learn how to get white teeth (and keep them!) by using charcoal and coconut oil toothpaste, setting a healthy daily routine at home, and watching what you eat and drink. If you're looking for products to make whitening teeth easier, Crest has new formulas to try!

HOW TO GET WHITE TEETH & KEEP THEM!

I want everything to feel fresh and clean when the weather starts to warm up and that includes my smile. I want my skin to look healthy and my teeth to look fresh. I’ve got an easy skin care routine that I use the entire year, but sometimes I’d like my teeth to look just a bit brighter.

While learning more about how to get your teeth white, I learned that it’s not just about finding the best teeth whitening tips and trying them all. It’s also about knowing how to keep them white once you’ve got them those beautiful teeth you’re looking for!

I’ve collected some of the tips that have worked best for me and am excited to share my experience using some of the new formulas of Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy toothpaste to get my teeth looking whiter and brighter!

    CHARCOAL TEETH WHITENER

Have you heard about things like charcoal tooth powder to whiten teeth? Do you just imagine some insane mess that isn’t even worth it? That’s exactly what I thought when I started researching whitening teeth with charcoal. I just couldn’t handle the mess that might come with trying to use charcoal.

I put that idea on the back burner as a way to get my teeth whiter. I need this to be easy, not make more work for me!

So I didn’t try it until recently when I got the brand new Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy with Charcoal! The new formula gave me the opportunity to try brushing with charcoal without the mess!

Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy with Charcoal

There are a few things I’ve been loving about using the Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy with Charcoal:

    • Looks pretty cool (Yes, I know this might seem silly but I love the striped look of this toothpaste!)
    • Familiar mint flavor
    • Long-last clean feeling
    • Grey foam that lightens as I brush
    • No mess to clean up

Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy with Charcoal

This toothpaste is striped with Charcoal. So it helps whiten surface stains and strengthen your enamel while cleaning. I like that the foam changes color as I brush because it makes me feel like I can see the toothpaste working.

I’ve loved getting to experience using charcoal and I think it’s one I will definitely continue using to see how it really brightens my teeth over the long term.

The Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy line has another new formula as well. Crest 3D White with Coconut Oil has a vanilla mint flavor that I love and leaves my mouth feeling fresh. This toothpaste also gives a deep clean while it gently removes surface stains to whiten your teeth and strengthen the enamel.

If you’re a fan of the Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy line of products, I think you’ll like the new formulas and the easy options they offer us for getting healthy teeth this Spring!

You can get Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy with Charcoal and Crest 3D White with Coconut Oil at Walmart which makes it so convenient to try!

    WATCH WHAT YOU EAT

Once I’ve got my brighter, whiter teeth, I want to keep them that way. So there are a few teeth cleaning tips that I’ve started doing as well.

Paying attention to the things I put in my mouth has been one of them. I’ve learned that things like red wine, black tea, colas (my weakness!), gravies, and dark juices can stain my teeth!

    Mommy Fuel Mug

So whenever I have any of these things, I try to brush my teeth right after I eat or drink anything that might stain my teeth. If I can’t brush, I try to rinse my mouth. I’m on a mission to have my pearly whites ready for all the vacation photos this year!

    REPLACE YOUR TOOTHBRUSH

I’m guilty of using my toothbrushes for a very long time.

My dentist told me that we should be replacing our toothbrushes or the heads of our electric toothbrushes every two to three months. Otherwise, they might be less effective and can actually hurt my gums. Oh, and there was something about bacteria and I just decided that I would be changing our toothbrushes regular to keep our teeth healthy!

    GOOD ORAL HYGIENE ROUTINE

For healthy teeth, it’s important to have a consistent oral hygiene routine! That’s the best way to keep your teeth looking good, especially after you’ve worked on healthy teeth whitening.

Some things you can do include:

    • Brushing twice a day
    • Flossing once a day
    • Rinsing with an antiseptic mouthwash
    • Continue using the whitening toothpaste once or twice a week

I’ll admit I need to work on my flossing habit! It’s good to have goals!

Mom learning how to get white teeth using Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy with Charcoal

If you’re making a plan for how to keep your teeth healthy and white this year, Crest 3D White Whitening Therapy with Charcoal and Crest 3D White with Coconut Oil offer the quality you expect from Crest with great new formulas.

If you’re looking for an easy way to try using Charcoal on your teeth, Crest has made it easy! You can get both of the new formulas at Walmart. So look for them on your next shopping trip!

Unfortunately, whitening teeth is not permanent. The length of your results will depend on your unique case, but tooth whitening can usually last from a few months to 3 years. Teeth with a natural yellow shade usually turn white in about 1-2 weeks, whereas teeth with a blue/gray shade can take twice as long.
