Monday always kicks of the start of a busy week for our family! So on Monday night I’m always looking for an easy dinner recipe that my whole family will love. Sloppy Joe Biscuit Casserole Recipe
I have to admit that Manwich has always been one of my best kept secrets when it comes to an easy family dinner. So it was where I started when planning our Sloppy Joe Biscuit Casserole! It’s all about Manwich Monday around here! It’s a great way to kick-off the week with a tasty, easy-to-make, family meal!
Manwich is a hearty sauce with a sweet and tangy taste that comes in three varieties:
- Manwich Original
- Manwich Bold
- Manwich Thick & Chunky
So you can adjust the flavor in this recipe depending on the Manwich variety you choose!
Check out how easy it is to make!
What You Need:
- 1 can of Manwich (choose your favorite variety!)
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 can of refrigerated biscuits (8 count)
What You Do:
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Brown ground beef and drain.
- Add Manwich and cook 2 to 3 minutes more or until sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Spread Manwich mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 pan.
- Top with biscuits.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and baked through.
Once you’ve got the Sloppy Joe Biscuit Casserole baking, you’re free to spend time with your family until dinner is ready. My favorite side dish with this one is a salad. I make it easy on Monday nights with one of our favorite salad kits from the store. Toss it all together and a complete meal is ready in no time!
It’s a delicious dinner that’s so easy to make! Plus Manwich has “kid-stopping” power. It gets my kids to stop and sit down to eat every time. It can be a little messy so it might take two hands to eat. But that means no one will be reaching for their phones or tablets. It’s true family time at the dinner table!
