Holiday Read: “Mistletoe in Juneau” & Giveaway

I’m a huge fan of the holidays and this is about the time I start scouting out all things holidays. I’m an avid reader and I will admit that I love a good holiday-themed book when the season hits. Hallmark Publishing has some perfect holiday reads this year including Mistletoe in Juneau and more!

Read on to learn more and enter a fun holiday giveaway!

This post is sponsored by Hallmark Publishing.

Mistletoe in Juneau from Hallmark Publishing

MISTLETOE IN JUNEAU BY HALLMARK PUBLISHING

Hallmark Publishing has four new releases that look to be wonderful holiday reads:

    • On Christmas Avenue (available now)
    • Mistletoe in Juneau (available 10/19)
    • Wrapped Up in Christmas Hope (available 10/26)
    • Christmas in Evergreen: Bells are Ringing (available 11/2)

I had the opportunity to sit down and dive into Mistletoe in Juneau. It’s based on a Hallmark Original Movie and is available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook so you can enjoy it curled up under a cozy blanket, on your tablet, or on the go!

    ABOUT MISTLETOE IN JUNEAU

Danni’s a social media influencer who’s way out of her element. She sort-of broke up with her boyfriend-slash-manager, and she escaped her fast-paced life in L.A. to spend Christmas with an old friend in Juneau, Alaska. Danni takes in the beauty of the scenery and the warmth of the community…and she’s drawn to the local sheriff.

Before Declan was the sheriff, he was in the Army. An IED explosion cost him his leg… and his fiancée, who couldn’t deal with the injury. He knows Danni’s a city girl, while he loves the Alaskan wilderness. Could two very different people find what their hearts are looking for?

RECIPE FEATURED IN MISTLETOE IN JUNEAU

In addition to an enjoyable holiday read, each novel includes delicious holiday recipes too!

In Mistletoe in Juneau, Declan owes Danni an apology. So he walks into his mom’s bakery and asks her for “a really good cake recipe—as simple as you’ve got.” His mom gives him this one. He’s a little doubtful about the “secret ingredient”—mayonnaise—but the cake is delicious, and Danni forgives him immediately. Even if you’re like Declan and don’t have any baking experience, this moist chocolate cake will win anybody over.

Our family is made up of all girls, (ages 5-91) so it is always fun when we all get together under one roof to do holiday baking while listening to Christmas music! These are the moments I look forward to all year long!

What I love most about the Holiday Season is family bonding time we are able to have. I love the music, the snow, the decorations, and the joy and giving attitudes that fill up the atmosphere around the Holidays. Even though it’s cold here during the Holidays, everyone’s hearts are full of love and warmth.
