    NATIONAL FETCH DAY

National Fetch Day 2019 is happening on Saturday, October 19th! It’s the perfect day to play fetch, run, and chase your dog! It’s also a great day to get together with friends and their pets to spend time together!

National Fetch Day is always on the third Saturday of October so you can mark your calendars and plan some fun with your family! It’s the Best Dog Party of the Year!

Fetch is a classic dog game. I’ll admit that I’ve never had a dog that was great at fetch, but they sure so love chasing sticks and balls. They just never bring them back to me.

National Fetch Day was started by Petmate to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Chuckit! Launcher! We’re huge fans of our Chuckit! Launcher and it’s a great toy for taking outside to play with the dogs. Sebastian is a huge fan of it (even if he isn’t great at bringing back the ball) and I love that we can all use it! Whether I’m using our Chuckit! Launcher or the kids are, it’s a great way for us all to be active and bond with our pups.

    WHY CELEBRATE?

If you’re wondering why you should celebrate National Fetch Day, there are a few simple reasons!

    1. It’s an easy way to encourage your dogs (and your family) to get active. Playing with pets is a fun way to add more activity into our lives!
    2. Life can get so busy sometimes. Stopping to spend time bonding with our pets is beneficial to them and to us!
    3. It’s a ton of fun!

Playing fetch covers those three basics and is a fun way to spend a Saturday together!

If you’re wondering why we love the Chuckit! Launcher, it’s because it makes playtime easier for us humans! With our Chuckit! Launcher I can throw balls farther without wearing out my arm as quickly! The Classic Launcher is also long enough so I don’t have to bend over to pick up the ball!

Both Sebastian and I can get outside and have fun together! It’s just easier on our human bodies and keeps those dog bodies busy! Grambo likes it because she’s currently dealing with a knee injury. Our Chuckit! Launcher gives her a great way to play outside with Sebastian!

National Fetch Day events are happening in major cities across the United States. Find an event near you and plan to celebrate with your family!
