If you’re looking into ways to save money, looking at your health costs can be a great way to find some savings. I’ve partnered with SingleCare to share some ways the SingleCare prescription card can help families save on their medical expenses, especially on prescriptions!
As a family of three generations living under one roof, we have a variety of prescriptions that we get filled every month. Finding easy ways to save on them is always something I’m looking for! Money saved on basics like medications can be used for fun things like family trips!
My family loves to travel so stashing away some savings is a great way to build up our vacation fund!

What is SingleCare?
SingleCare is a healthcare savings company. They offer the program that is free to join and can help us save money when filling prescriptions using the SingleCare prescription card.
I believe we should all be able to compare the costs of healthcare services, so I was excited to learn more about SingleCare and get signed up for a membership.
You can also save when you schedule an office visit with a SingleCare dentist, optometrist, or an online doctor. That’s something I didn’t know! It goes beyond just the prescriptions we depend on each month!
When you sign up for a free membership with SingleCare, you’ll receive the following:
- Membership card accepted nationwide at over 35,000 pharmacies for prescription savings
- Up to 80% off your prescription medication

How the SingleCare Pharmacy Card Helps Us Save
There are a few ways that the SingleCare Prescription Savings Card has helped us save money in recent months.
Both Grambo and Carrigan have monthly prescriptions that have to be filled. With SingleCare I have been able to search for the best deal at our local pharmacies. Pharmacies like Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, and Kroger are included in the pharmacies that SingleCare works with!
The convenience factor makes it so easy to start saving! I’m able to search their prescriptions and compare prices at all of our local pharmacies. Once I’ve decided which pharmacy I’m using, all I have to do is take my SingleCare card to the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist to process the prescription using the BIN and PCN number on the card.
It’s really that easy to start saving!
There’s also a new program from SingleCare that allows us to pay for prescriptions over a period of 4, 8 or 12 weeks. If the option is available for your prescription and pharmacy, you’ll see the option to view plan pricing when you search for your prescription.
Being able to pay over time can help us have more financial flexibility. It makes our costs less of an immediate burden and I’m all about having options!
More Ways to Save with SingleCare Prescription Card
Saving on prescriptions is great but I also love that SingleCare gives my family other ways to save on some healthcare costs including dental office visits, vision office visits, and video doctor visits.
Dental and vision insurance is something we have to pay extra for when it comes to our health insurance. Every year we look over the numbers and make the best decision that we can. SingleCare offers a way to save on a variety of services.
The service could be beneficial if you’re looking to save on dental services including:
- dental exams
- cavity fillings
- dental implants
- tooth extraction
SingleCare will show you participating providers in your area and highlight the price you’ll pay when you book an appointment.
The same is true for basic vision services like:
- Eye exam
- Contact lens fitting
- Frames and lenses at certain providers
All you have to do is make your appointment on the website and show your SingleCare prescription savings card to receive your discounted services!
What I Love Most About the SingleCare Card
I’ve shared all of the ways that SingleCare has been helping us save money but there’s a way that our card has also helped save me time. If you’re a busy parent like I am, saving time is almost as valuable as saving money!
When it comes to my family, I want to spend as much time as I can with them! They are my life! This is what I love most about SingleCare! It’s helped us save time!
If you’ve ever woken up feeling less than fantastic or had a child wake up under the weather, it can throw a bit of a kink in what sometimes seems like a careful balance of family life.
With SingleCare, you can have an online video chat with a MeMD doctor. You won’t have to deal with waiting rooms or hoping you can get an appointment that day. You can get treated by a board-certified doctor from the comfort of your home in minutes!
You’ll save time and it only costs $45 per visit! That saves me money over what we pay for most urgent care visits!
I love that I can save time and money! It’s a great option for busy families like ours!
SingleCare is easy to use and you can sign up for free to see what savings you might be able to get for your family with the SingleCare Prescription Card! For more information, visit the SingleCare website.
