Lately we’ve been eating a lot of chicken so I’ve been on the hunt for new ground beef recipes. Carrigan is a huge fan of cheesy pasta so this Cheeseburger Pasta recipe I got from Krista at Everyday Mom’s Meals is just perfect for the family!

Skillet Cheeseburger Pasta is a great family friendly dinner idea! It's easy to make too!

Skillet Cheeseburger Pasta

  • 1 lb. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp. steak seasoning

  • 3 TBS mustard
  • 3 TBS dill pickle relish
  • 1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 3/4 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped, whites only
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

What You Do:

  1. While pasta cooks, brown beef and yellow onion in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain and return to skillet.
  2. Season with steak seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add ketchup, mustard, relish and diced tomatoes. Stir well to combine.
  4. Cook 1-2 minutes for flavors to develop. Reduce heat to low.
