Lately we’ve been eating a lot of chicken so I’ve been on the hunt for new ground beef recipes. Carrigan is a huge fan of cheesy pasta so this Cheeseburger Pasta recipe I got from Krista at Everyday Mom’s Meals is just perfect for the family!
Skillet Cheeseburger Pasta
What You Need:
- 1 lb. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. steak seasoning
- 3 TBS ketchup
- 3 TBS mustard
- 3 TBS dill pickle relish
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 3/4 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped, whites only
- Salt and Pepper to taste
What You Do:
- While pasta cooks, brown beef and yellow onion in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain and return to skillet.
- Season with steak seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add ketchup, mustard, relish and diced tomatoes. Stir well to combine.
- Cook 1-2 minutes for flavors to develop. Reduce heat to low.
- When pasta is cooked, drain well. Add to skillet. Stir well to combine.
- Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and keep on warm until cheese melts.
- Sprinkle with green onions and serve.
