Spring is a great time for exploring nature and all of the bugs flying about. My kids love getting outside and seeing what they can find. Even on rainy days, they love learning about flowers, plants, and insects. If your children like nature and finger plays, this Spring Ladybug Craft is great to make together and then use with the Five Little Ladybugs poem!

This Spring Ladybug craft for kids is fun to make and then fun to play with! It's a great craft for in the garden and for finger play with a 5 Little Ladybugs poem!

    Spring Ladybug Craft

You can make your own ladybug finger play gloves in just minutes with supplies from your local craft store!

Here's what you need to make this fun Spring Ladybug craft for kids!

    What You Need:

    • Stretchy gloves
    • Foam ladybug stickers

    What You Do:

    • Lay the glove flat on the surface. Decide how you wish to arrange the ladybug stickers.
    • Peel and stick the ladybugs to each finger. Press firmly so they stay in place. If you wish, you can reinforce with craft glue.
    • Add a few leaf stickers for extra pop. These are usually included with the package of ladybug stickers.

Use craft foam ladybug stickers to make this fun Spring Craft for Kids! This ladybug craft is great for kids of all ages!

Once your glove is made, you’re ready for the poem! If your kids like puppets, they will probably enjoy playing with their new ladybugs while they learn the poem!

    Five Little Ladybugs

Five little ladybugs dancing on the shore,
One danced away and then there were four.
Four little ladybugs dipping in the sea,
One chased a fish and then there were three.
Three little ladybugs admiring the view
One skipped off and then there were two,
Two little ladybugs bathing in the sun
One flew home, leaving only one.
One little ladybug was all alone.
She called her friends on the telephone.
They came back, now there’s five
To dance and sing the ladybug jive!
