One of the biggest things (and the thing I often procrastinate on), is taking time to stop and review the work I’m doing on my websites. I think it’s important to make sure I take time to see if I’m on the right track and meeting the needs of my readers. So this summer, I joined Russell Brunson’s 30 Day Traffic Secrets challenge so I would take the time to dive in and make sure I’m focused on what The Simple Parent is all about.
GROWING AS A CONTENT CREATOR
Russell Brunson’s new book, Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers, focuses on direct marketing techniques that can help creators be on top of new trends and find new opportunities. Throughout the book, he shares ways to master traffic strategies to bring more readers to websites and find dream customers.
Finding more parents I can help by making life a little easier is always one of my goals. I want to help as many other busy parents as I can so learning more about how to find them and meet the needs of my audience is important to me.
Throughout the 30-day challenge, I’ve had the chance to dig deeper and learn more about my readers. In Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers, I learned that getting future customers even aware of your business is the biggest challenge entrepreneurs face.
As an entrepreneur, this definitely rings true. I feel like finding your audience and bringing them in is a huge challenge no matter what industry or niche you’re working in. It’s why I aim to produce content to attract new parents looking for easy ideas and to keep current readers hanging around.
Every year there are so many new businesses that start and fail. It’s not because they don’t have a great product or service, it’s because many entrepreneurs don’t know how to get consumers to find them.
So by participating in the 30-day challenge, I’m working on learning key strategies to help me continue to build the traffic and readership at The Simple Parent.
Some of the tips that have resonated with me so far include:
- Find out who your dream audience is – Making sure I really understood who my readers are was important to me. I want to make sure I’m creating content that will help busy parents.
- Find out what your audience is looking to improve in their lives – Digging deeper into this area has helped me refine the types of content I plan to produce in the coming months.
- Develop content or products that address the needs and interests of your audience – One of my goals this year was to create more products to complement the content I produce on the site. By learning more about my readers and their needs, I hope to develop some new things that will be helpful!
I’m learning a lot during the Traffic Secrets challenge and I look forward to putting the principles shared by Russell Brunson in Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers into action as I develop new content for The Simple Parent!
