Our trip to Disney World this year was the first time I’d been on a full blown Disney trip with kids. And young kids too! So when it came to dining, they were definitely out priority. I know how my kids can be when we go out to eat and I know how they can be when they are tired. So I was on the hunt for dining options that would work well for us. Via Napoli lunch was one of the best dining experiences we had on our trip!
Via Napoli Lunch is Great for Families
Via Napoli is in the Italy Pavilion of the World Showcase at Epcot. Just a warning if you’re just headed there for a meal, it’s a bit of a trek from the front entrance of the park. So be prepared! Or head out early so you have plenty of time to wander and let the kids take everything in.
They serve authentic Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas, pasta, and meat dishes so there is something for everyone! Food that the kids are willing to eat is always a priority.
But another great thing about Via Napoli is the amazing atmosphere.
The Atmosphere at Via Napoli
The restaurant is absolute gorgeous with soaring ceilings and beautiful frescoes. There are some amazingly huge wood ovens and the restaurant has a nice casual atmosphere.
Our Via Napoli lunch was perfect because the restaurant was busy with plenty of other families. The atmosphere was noisy without being too loud. So it was perfect for a table with two young kids.
I wasn’t worried about us making too much noise! And there was plenty for the kids to look at!
The Menu at Via Napoli
The menu at Via Napoli has a number of great offerings for everyone in the family.
We shared the Calamari Fritti because Justin and I like to sample calmari whenever we can. And we’d never had it at an italian restaurant. Then we all shared a large Quattro Formaggi Signature Pie. I love a good white pizza and this one had mozzarella, pamesan, fontina, and parmesan! It was delicious and was plenty of pizza for three adults.
The kids menu features includes fruit cocktail, fried mozzarella bites, kids-size pizza, and spaghetti with meatballs! There’s also gelato for dessert!

I have to saw the combination of the food (who doesn’t like pizza) and the atmosphere made Via Napoli work really well for us on this trip! I have a feeling that we’ll be hitting it up every time we visit Epcot! I’m so glad I got this recommendation and snagged a reservation.
Oh, and I would recommend a reservation. It was extremely busy during lunch when we were there. We had a reservation and were seated in less than 10 minutes!
Via Napoli is casual dining but it’s also a sit-down, table-service restaurant. It’s on the Disney Dining Plan and counts as one table-service credit per person.
