Christopher Robin hits theaters everywhere this Friday, August 3rd! If you’re looking for a sentimental way to spend time with your family before the summer ends, the film is perfect for enjoying together! While you wait for the movie to open in a theater near you, check out some of my favorite Winnie the Pooh quotes along with some of my favorite photos from the premiere party!
Last week I shared that I was going to the Christopher Robin movie premiere and I’m thrilled to share more about my experience at the Christopher Robin World Premiere at Walt Disney Studios! I also had the opportunity to screen the movie twice over the past few days and I shared my Christopher Robin movie review as well!
Huge thanks to Disney for inviting me and covering most of my expenses in exchange for sharing my thoughts and opinions!
WINNIE THE POOH QUOTES & CHRISTOPHER ROBIN PREMIERE HIGHLIGHTS
The World Premiere of Christopher Robin gave me the chance to experience a taste of the Hundred Acre Wood and enjoy some iconic moments from the film.
From the moment we walked into the red carpet premiere party, my heart just filled up with warmth in the same way it does whenever I watch or read Winnie the Pooh with my kids. There is just something about those familiar characters that can’t be denied.
It’s like they’re a direct connection to childhood.
You can’t help but smile and feel happy.
It’s the same feeling I get from my favorite Winnie the Pooh quotes. It’s the feeling I had all evening at the Christopher Robin premiere.
Walking into the premiere at Walt Disney Studios felt like walking into a bit of the world of Winnie the Pooh. Yes, there was a red carpet that the celebrities made their way down. But the evening was also full of small moments that made me feel like I was truly part of the film.
There was definitely something special about the small details at the red carpet event. I’ve been to a few red carpet premieres in the past and this one had a feel to it that was so unique.
It felt calm and peaceful. It felt so gentle. I felt like I’d come home.
I think it was the feeling of childhood. I really do.
To say that having the chance to experience the event was magical would be pretty obvious.
Disney really knows how to bring their films to live for these premiere evenings. As if it’s not exciting enough to be sharing a theater with the stars of the film while some of them see the movie for the first time!
This reminded me of one of my favorite Winnie the Pooh quotes!
“What day is it?”
“It’s Today.”
“My favorite day.”
This was definitely one of my most favorite of Todays!
I was definitely living a great today at the premiere!
Once we walking through past the red carpet, we were immediately presented with delicious food and drinks! Everything was themed into smaller areas of the room like we were in different areas of the Hundred Acre Wood!
I loved the signs!
If you didn’t know, Ashdown Forest is kind of the real Hundred Acre Wood! It’s where A.A. Milne observed his son Christopher Robin playing with his toys in the woods! It’s where the adventures that inspired all of our favorite Winnie the Pooh quotes and stories really happened!
It’s also where they did much of the filming for Christopher Robin!
We were able to enjoy some delicious food all night long. Whether you wanted to try the fish and chips or opt for some macaroni and cheese, there was comfort food everywhere you turned!
It was just another way that the atmosphere made you feel comforted in the ways we often feel when we’re children.
The food continued as part of this new favorite day of mine!
I have to admit that the Winnie the Pooh’s sweet treats were some of my favorites! I knew I could count on Pooh to help me take care of my sweet tooth and that rumbly in my tumbly!
The Honey pie was amazing! It was like a chess pie in texture but was a delicious mix of honey and brown sugar. I could have eaten a whole pie… well, maybe not. But it was absolutely delicious!
After experiencing the fun themed food, we were off on an “expotition” to experience the rest of the premiere party!
From finding our own red balloon, to enjoying some tea at the table (I wish Winnie the Pooh and his friends were there), to relaxing with all of our favorites, many memories were made at the Christopher Robin premiere!
These are some of my favorite photos from the evening.
One of the best parts of the night was the fact that I got to experience the Christopher Robin movie premiere with some of my closest blogging friends.
When I go on these trips, I always make new friends but it’s nice to get the opportunity to spend time with some of my close friends!
Spending time with friends really seems to make everything better!
One of the amazing Disney cast members working at the premiere saw us all together and insisted that he take our photo at Pluto’s corner! This is a photo I’ll cherish for a long time!
Memories made with friends just seem to be even more special, I think.
While walking the red carpet, I also got to meet some celebrities that take me right back to childhood too!
This was an evening full of making memories and it reminded me of how I want to live my life to the fullest. I want to make memories with the people I love and care about. I want to spend as much time with them as I can.
The premiere, like the Christopher Robin movie, reminded me of this. It was the message of the whole evening.
Life is short and we need to fill it up. It reminded me of one of my all-time favorite Pooh quotes!
“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.” – Christopher Robin
When you see the film there is a reference to this quote. Be sure to pay attention to young Christopher Robin as he sits with Pooh before he leaves for boarding school to catch it!
I took the message home with me. But before it was time to think about home, there was still more to enjoy at the premiere party!
I signed the digital guest book, enjoyed some music, and then it was time to screen Christopher Robin!
And I got to enjoy seeing Christopher Robin for the second time that night!
It’s a movie that I know I’ll be able to watch again and again. Each time, there is something new to notice and discover. Each time I walk away feeling comforted and inspired to make sure I’m connected to the people I love.
It’s kind of the way all Winnie the Pooh love quotes make me feel, especially this one:
The only sad part about the evening is the fact that it had to come to an end. But one of my favorite Winnie the Pooh quotes is the one I carried with me at the end of the night to help remind me.
I’ve depended on this Winnie the Pooh goodbye quote many times in my life to get me through some tough goodbyes.
It truly is a blessing to have so many amazing experiences where I’ve eventually had to say goodbye.
I was excited to come home and share the experience with my family. We’re all really excited to go see Christopher Robin together this weekend!

This movie will give you a good dose of Winnie the Pooh and I think that makes any day a better day!
“I don’t feel very much like Pooh today,” said Pooh.
“There, there,” said Piglet. “I’ll bring you tea and honey until you do.”
This quote also gets new life in the new film so listen for it!
When it comes to Pooh Bear quotes, I think everyone has their favorite quote! I’d love to know which (of the many) Winnie the Pooh quotes is your favorite!

I loved all those quotes! what a unique way of talking about the night and the movie.
