Preheat the oven to 375℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate the triangles.
Place one triangle on a flat surface with the point facing down. Roll up the pointed end to form a small ball.
Use a knife to cut a slit down the center of the triangle from the top to the ball at the bottom.
Pinch each side together and slightly stretch it out, then twist the sides together, leaving around two inches at the top of the twist. Bend the ends down slightly to form ears.
Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, until they’re golden brown.

VARIATIONS
Cinnamon sugar – Mix butter, cinnamon, and sugar together. Spread on crescent dough before twisting.
Hazelnut – Spread crescent dough with Nutella before twisting.
Garlic herb/parmesan – Mix butter, garlic, and herbs/parmesan together. Spread on crescent dough before twisting.
Fruit – Use your favorite jam and spread on crescent dough before twisting.
