bacon
¼
cup
maple syrup

tbsp
brown sugar
Dash of black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Cut the bacon strips in half and place on the baking sheet. Do not overlap them.
In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, brown sugar, and black pepper until well combined.
Brush the mixture over the bacon on both sides.
Bake for 18-20 minutes in the oven until the bacon reaches your desired level of crispiness.
Let the bacon cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before serving, as the sugar coating will be very hot.
Notes
Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 3-5 minutes.
