As we near the end of the 12 Days of DIY Christmas Ornaments series, I’ve saved some of my favorite ideas for the end! Yesterday’s Fairy Garden Ornament is Grambo’s favorite and today’s Frosty Pine Ornament is one of my favorites! It looks like it’s a challenge to make but it’s actually very simple!
12 Days of DIY Christmas Ornaments: Frosty Pine Ornament
Hopefully you have a stash of clear ornaments around because this Frost Pine ornament idea is kind of addictive. I love it on our tree that has silver, white, and red ornaments. It’s the perfect addition! I love the combination of the frosty berries with a touch of glitter for bit of holiday sparkle!
What you need:
- Clear ornament
- Silver glitter
- Assorted faux holly, holly berries
- Scissors
- Ribbon for hanging
What you do:
- Cut the holly leaves and berries down to size so they fit into the ornament. Press them into place.
- Add a sprinkling of silver glitter. Shake.
- Replace the hook and tie with ribbon for hanging.
It’s so simple to make and looks like I bought it at a store! I think these would be great gift ideas if you’re looking to make some homemade ornaments for gifts. They look great on a tree or even grouped together in a festive bowl!
