12 Days of DIY Christmas Ornaments: Pom Pom Ornament

Just like all of the other ornaments in this series, you need a clear ornament to start with. For this one you need pom poms of different colors. You could go with red and green for the season or think outside of the box a bit. We have a jewel toned themed tree so using some brighter colors worked really well for a few ornaments for us. I want to make some black, white, and red ones too! I love that classic holiday color combination!

     What you need:

    • Clear ornament
    • Assorted craft pom poms
    • Scissors
    • Ribbon for hanging

    What you do:

    1. Take the your pom poms and press them into the ornament. Fill it as full as you would like!
    2. Replace the hook and tie with ribbon for hanging.

These are some of the easiest ornaments to make. I love that they are very affordable too! They would make great gifts if your child wants to give gifts to their friends at school!

What color pom poms would you use in your ornaments?
